It was a joke about Kurt Eichenwald. He got caught with a hentai tab open on his computer and claimed it was because he was proving to his family that tentacle porn was a thing. He also got trolled by people sending him seizure gifs.
Oh... LOL! I am not up on that lore.
Why does he even care? It's not like he actually practices law anymore.
Ego. Credentialism. Shame. Ammunition to be used against him. (dis-barred shyster law-yer!)

It does not make sense from a pragmatic level of an adult, but think of a child with his toy taken away or being called out for BS, and it makes sense.

Decided to do a hop-in on Locals to see if it's going to be yet another instant-degeneracy situation and surprisingly there is none in the immediate page. Instead we have them complaining about Nick not paying up on his 5k sub gift. Whether this will actually result in him following through with his promise, who knows. My guess is that he will, but it will be some cop-out shit that he can make money off of such as a "bonus stream" of some fashion.

All that aside what I find more interesting is their discussion about his numbers. If they are to be believed, he hit 5k in October and is currently somewhere in the area of 5,150. There's a few numbers thrown out there but they all start with 51--. This would mean that in the course of four months he has only gained a net ~150 subscribers. This is horrible growth. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't complain about a $750 a month raise. But by the high standards he pretends to have for himself this would be embarrassing if true.

Edit: In the time it took to write that post it was clarified that they were discussing how many people were eligible for the gift. I guess he couldn't get a list of just the first 5k so anyone who "crossed the finish line at the same time" so to speak gets included. So the number is slightly higher than 5,000 who should be getting a "gift".

So I trawled through the spreadsheet provided by @Himedall All-seeing Waifu and found some lunacy from Nick himself. I apologize for the format. I ended up taking screenshots of the spreadsheet.

First we start with Nick announcing to his chat that he's taking a shower. To which a locals responds and Nick provides

Then a little bit later, Nick's favorite comes into chat and Nick (jokingly) asks for tit pics:

To locals members who question why we're paying attention to the chat, THIS is why. Nick's lolcow tendencies are exacerbated by chat. That's where the hilarity is.

Does @Cynthia Behave still get the gift?

How Bad.jpg

Thinking of it, what's happening to Rekieta seems to have mirrored what happened with d-tier comedian Owen Benjamin back in 2015. Before both got in trouble with YouTube, they were "man of the people" types who talked to their chats a lot and built up their community, then pivoted to a paywalled model. After the paywall and the insular community formed, the content changed a lot, and the mask kind of came down.

Before Owen Benjamin got his paywall, he and his chat was joking about how the Jews faked the moon landing. 6 months after that, he was on Crowder's show talking about how the moon landing was actually fake. His current rants (that occasionally get clipped to youtube) are all about how Jews are evil. As far as I know, Owen Benjamin has Hollywood money coming in, just like Rekieta has his trust fund, so he really didn't need to advertise to new people.

Rekieta hasn't quite gotten to the step of yelling "JEWS FAKED THE MOON LANDING," but he is now a pedo defender (thanks to Drexel), the mask has dropped on the coomer shit, and his chat's jokes about women (eg "repeal the 19th") are getting less jokey and more serious.

Motograph's lawyer submitted an ethics complaint against Rekieta and Rekieta had to respond. You know what that means. Not a simple dismissal. The ethics board must be as sick of nick as we are.
This kind of thing is why it was a mistake for Nick to represent himself and for Nick to talk about the case on streams. Complaints from nobodies outside the legal system is one thing. But complaints about conduct from another attorney is a situation like this is way different. And doing his typical drunkstreaming about the ethics complaint in front of his locals audience is an even worse idea than talking about the case on streams.
Motograph has a better attorney involved than he should be able to afford and the attorney seems more interested in the case than Motograph's money would motivate him to be. Nick should be very careful.
But he won't be.

I think there's been some speculation here that Montagraph's lawyer is giving him a discount (or taking the case on contingency) thanks to a vendetta against Nick, but I don't think we have any confirmation either way.

I'm a little surprised he doesn't have a nicer shower considering how nice his house his. You can see glass bricks behind him in the nipple pic which is tacky as fuck.

This needs to be a cutout overlayed over a picture of a prison shower with numerous muscular black men standing behind rackets.

It's pretty much assured that Nick will be facing disciplinary action soon. Nobody likes an asshole. His luck has run out.

Him being willing to associate with men he should have otherwise condemned as degenerates (drexel, dick) was a red flag.
His (Rekieta’s) sexual walkabouts where he gets handjobs and so forth while married is a pretty good insight into him. It’s not cheating because he doesn’t penetrate, a very lawyerly standard, but it goes back to thus red flag: how can he put up any moral authority while he’s unwilling to even distance himself from this filth?

How can he tell a college girl who has acquired 5 new bodies in the past semester to not do that? That saving herself will be worth it?

Not what was requested because I couldn't find a good base picture, but I offer this as tribute regardless.

Just interesting to compare Nick vs Emily on the count of superchats.
week of feb 06-12th
$11,4202,232
$8,831729

Emily is on top and Nick on bottom. He is making 77% of the money but only has 33% of the superchats. Nick probably doesn't care as it means less work for him but it does show how unhealthy the viewership has gotten.
Eh. One's "unhealthy viewership" is another's "loyal fanbase." Now, we happen to know what sort of people become Nick's paypigs at this point, so I wouldn't put too much stock into the numbers, as compared to a different creator. I mean, you could compare his stats to, I dunno, some VTuber, and get a completely different picture.

Now, comparisons between Nick now and Nick 12, 24, 36 months ago? That'd be interesting. Then we could see the dynamic.

<...>It’s not cheating because he doesn’t penetrate<...>
This just feels like a hentai trope. Ew.

I am going to assume rumble didn't advertise his day stream again as not only were the viewers lower but the rants are pretty shameful.
I went to the Rumble front page yesterday or the day before and I had to scroll down half way down the page, below a bunch of sections of videos, including something called "Power Slap" which appears to be some sort of "sport" where it's just people slapping each other in the face(?) to eventually find Rekieta in the "Podcast" section. He was not even the first video in the list, he was behind multiple other live streams, including ones with less than 100 viewers.

I am legitimately struggling to understand why his day streams are continually being so low ranked on the Rumble home page. Is this happening to the night streams?

Nick's average super chat has hovered around $10 for a while now. Looks like he's up to $12 which is a bit higher, but not massively so.

I don't know if we really know who the paypigs are, since I suspect a lot of them are leftovers from Nick's "old audience". I suspect a lot of the Locals clique aren't giving Nick a penny more than the $5/month to post on the chat.

It's totally anecdotal, but I don't really see any of the names in the chat that I remember from years ago. A few examples: AngryBaneling has vanished, Aggrolith has stopped making his timestamps, all the modded chat shills except for CGoody are nowhere to be seen, and I don't recognize most of superchatting users' names these days. I (again, anecdotal, personal opinion, yadda-yadda-yadda) don't think much of the old audience is superchatting anymore. I know I'm not.

Slapping's still a thing? Huh. Seemed like a classic fad.
I used to watch slapping clips on penguinz0. I still only know of slapping through his "commentary." Does he even cover slapping tournaments anymore?

This is exactly why Nick should've never advertised Locals as an alternative to superchats. The moment he explained how paying for Locals would be not only a bargain, but an even better alternative to superchats, he should have expected his revenue to go down. Why would I pay for individual questions at $20 each (if I want it answered relatively soon) when I can spam as many as I want for $5?

They're covering the exact same content so it's like comparing two nascar teams. You can directly compare how teams do at a race. Historical comparison would also be interesting but playboard paywalls old data and it's not worth it. I have noted his poor conversation rates over the last few months. It's at most 2% and usually 1%.

My opinion being reliance on paypigs is what makes the viewership unhealthy. See George and the FNT people as a good example. He would routinely drop hundreds of dollars a stream until one time they ignored a chat. Need to dig around the comicsgate thread to find the song someone made of it.

Last time I looked all his night streams are editor picked front page. I am starting to think it's as simple as him getting special treatment when he does the cutoff. Seems like an short sighted approach by rumble. If they could encourage viewers and rants he may even do a cutoff during the day. Actually get a siphon going instead of just annoying the night viewers.
