Plagued The Alt-Right

As far as I can tell, most NRX people are either Silicon Valley people or edgy pseudo-intellectual teenage boys, both of whom are so uber-libertarian they become authoritarian in some retarded Ouroboros of failure.

It started out as part of the "techno-libertarian" political atmosphere of Silicon Valley in the 90's and early 2000's, which was one shot of Ayn Rand-style libertarianism and two shots of techno-utopianism garnished with New Left hippie idealism (Google "the Califronian Ideology"). Over time, some particularly unhinged tech industry people shifted further to the right, and concluded that the world should be run by businessmen because they obviously are Better Than You, and that democracy (or "demotism" as they call it, which is word they made up to make democracy sound like a Bad Thing) was a sham that prevented them from taking their rightful place as rulers (PayPal founder Peter Thiel infamously declared that he "no longer believe(s) that freedom and democracy are compatible", which is really rich for someone who has donated shitloads of money to the Republican Party).

After years of intellectual inbreeding, we got the Dark Enlightenment, who write lunatic drivel about "human biodiversity" (a euphemism for eugenics and racism) and worship a giant crab demon called GNON. These are the hangers-on, the high school kids who scored really high on their SATs and got picked on incessantly.

When you get down to it, it's corporate conservatism taken to its logical conclusion.

If Trump ever discovered that a bunch of alt-right autists were among his followers? Then he'd deport them to Mexico and you know Mexico is not a place for a "culturally suprior proud white man".

I'm sure he's well aware of that. It's not like the abrasive, condescending, tough guy persona he's putting on isn't blatantly pandering to edgy kids who think they've all figured it out and like him because "He's telling it, like it is, man!". Truth is, many of anti-establishment kids these days gravitate towards the authoritarian right because... well, fucked if I know, probably because a Democrat is president of the USA and you see a lot of these foreigners running around here in Europe while a bunch of rich, white conservatives try to convince everyone how they're the victims of some repressive far-left conspiracy.

Like political hipsters, they gravitate towards whatever isn't mainstream these days. And since enlightenment, liberal ideas have been firmly entrenched in the Western world now, it suddenly seems daring and rebellious to advocate for fascism.

And if there's anything that the Powers That Be are good at, it's co-opting whatever looks daring and rebellious. Thus, the cycle will be complete soon.

Fill an idiot like me in. What would make it so ironic that Taylor Swift was made their icon?

A facebook friend of mine shared a post from a page that he likes:
"Not entirely correct. The refugees countries like Canada and Mexico might see are the hipster, beta males. They may have been born in America, but those aren't Americans. They are leeches. Our advice to our neighbors is to make sure the leeches don't latch on. You can see the fucking mess they have made of America." with a picture about how if America gets invaded, well, we'll just fight them off with our guns, we won't run away like those Middle-Easterners.

Submitted because it unironically uses the term "beta males" and I've never heard that term used outside of alt-right and loveshy circles.

Regardless, I've had to add "beta" to my list of "Words that indicate I can safely ignore this person's argument", along with "sheeple".

In many ways, it's also just politicized autism--really, this is from *their own admission.* A telling quote from Nick Land, one of the prominent philosophers in "Nrx:"

http://www.xenosystems.net/revenge-of-the-nerds/

Increasingly, there are only two basic human types populating this planet. There are autistic nerds, who alone are capable of participating effectively in the advanced technological processes that characterize the emerging economy, and there is everybody else. For everybody else, this situation is uncomfortable. The nerds are steadily finding ways to do all the things ordinary and sub-ordinary people do, more efficiently and economically, by programming machines. Only the nerds have any understanding of how this works, and — until generalized machine intelligences arrive to keep them company — only they will.

I find Nick Land's comments to be incredibly stereotypical and kind of fetish-y.

But despite that, they're true for the most part, because the NRX "ideology" can be boiled down to "FUCKING NORMIES GET OUT OF MY SOCIETY REEEEEEEEE"

Or "Cultural Marxist", or "cuck"

If you thought the Disney song was bad, wait till you see this version of a song that was pretty cheesy to begin with:

Because Gavin McInnes, Pat Buchanan, Milo Yiannapolis, and Jim Goad (who I had to look up on Google because I'd never heard of him before) are the kind of people you want representing your movement.

Also, unironically using the word normie. Yeah, these are truly the great minds that will save Mother Europa from the ess jay dubblydoos.

Jim Goad is pretty amazing. Of course, he's done some serious time, too. He wrote one of the most fucked-up zines in history.

Yes, but if he's being associated with these spergs then I guess he's fallen hard.

I mean, the last relevant thing he did was (possibly) inspiring Kurt Cobain to kill himself. Now he's working for some third-tier libertarian blog.

Nothing wrong with Gavin and Milo, fam. They are hilarious and just good ol fashion Lenny Bruce-style pol provocateurs. Same with Crowder.

Lenny Bruce shits all over Milo and Gavin's piss-poor attempts at "trolling". College freshmen are literally the easiest fucking targets on Earth, why do they think that they're accomplishing anything?

Oh, right, because money and attention.

They shouldn't be in the same list as Buchanan and I don't know anything about Goad so I can't say.

Goad is the only one of them who actually qualifies as a "Lenny Bruce-style provocateur." Goad is the man all these edgelords wish they were. Gavin is too much of a tryhard and a thin-skinned cuck to be a good troll, and Milo just reguritates a watered down version of /pol/ humor.
