One of the funniest things to me is Jack insisting she can't tell lies because she's autistic.
Autistic people often can't lie. That doesn't mean they're not capable of uttering untruths, it's just that (depending on severity) they often struggle with perspective taking and theory of mind, like a young child

I doubt Jack is actually autistic though, it's probably just compulsive lying from a personality disorder coupled with being pretty stupid and unable to keep a story straight.

Compare someone like Chris-Chan:Parent: Did you eat the cookies after I told you not to?
Child: No.
P: But there are no cookies in this cupboard and nobody else was in here.
C: Someone else must have eaten them.
P: You have chocolate around your mouth.
C: The cookies are chocolate hazelnut and I don't like chocolate hazelnut so I couldn't have eaten them.
P: How do you know what flavour they were if you didn't eat them?
C: I don't. I just guessed.
This is a neurological thing that can be used for diagnosing children with developmental delays or autism.Null: Chris, you said you didn't have any money.
Chris-Chan: No I don't have any money.
N: Then how did you afford a motel room and a trip to the mall?
C: I found some money.
N: You know I can see your bank account. It says Barb sent you money. Did you contact Barb after being banned from contacting her and ask her to send you money?
C: No.
N: So Barb just sent you money?
C: No I manifested it.
N: Chris do you have access to Barb's bank account, and did you use that to send yourself money?
C: Well it was an emergency.
"Autistic people can't lie" is because (severely) autistic people can't understand how to convincingly lie, they just say untrue things because they comprehend saying untrue things sometimes works. (This is coupled with not understanding why people might white lie - "I'm thinking of going on a diet", "Yes you have gotten quite fat"). Which is exactly what Jack does, but she thinks it means "autistic people only tell the truth"Sam puts a bouncy ball inside a red box. The box is labelled Barbie dolls. Next to it is a blue box labelled bouncy balls, which has a Teddy bear inside it. Sally then walks in the room and wants to play with a bouncy ball. Which box does she open first, the blue box labelled bouncy balls, or the red box labelled Barbie dolls?
Developmentally typical child, Piaget stage 3: She opens the blue box labelled bouncy balls, because she thinks there's a bouncy ball inside.
Autistic/delayed child: She opens the red box labelled Barbie dolls, because that's where the bouncy ball is.
