Disney Adults / Disneymania

Thank you OP for making this thread. Disney adults are best described as adults who have "Peter Pan Syndrome". I can understand adults enjoying taking their kids to Disneyland and having fun with them as a family but childless adults? I believe there is a quote in the Bible about how one needs to grow up and put away childish things. Plus, I don't see the appeal of Disneyland. Went there a few months ago with my family. It was the most miserable experience I ever had in my life. Park was just filled with fags, childless couples and Mexicans that did nothing but spit on the ground and not wash their hands when coming out of the bathroom. Park food was godawful. Not to mention that the park is overcrowded, dirty and with rides constantly malfunctioning and having to go through maintenance. Would never recommend the park to anybody.
The clientele and the overcrowding is a huge problem. Lots of people with technicolor hair, masks and LGBT stuff on them. I even saw a mom breastfeeding what looked like her four year old son.

If and when I'll ever have kids, I'll probably just take them out to a forest or something instead.

I'm so happy to see this thread. I finally have somewhere to sperg about Disney "content creators."

I want to punch the woman in the last video in the face until she's not alive and then probably continue for a few minutes more.

Shout out the OP for sifting through this literal river of twee shit. Almost all of these people should be gassed and I endorse commiting any crime up until murder against them.

That woman in the final video is meant to be satirizing Disney adults. Pretending to be a quirky millennial is her brand, but she's become the exact kind of person she's meant to mock.

What's not satire, however, are these Disney couples who will voraciously consume anything with that giant, niggering D printed on it.

If you haven't heard of these "Disney keys" they're just giant fucking toy keys that serve no purpose or function. They're hunks of plastic printed with vaguely Disney concepts. You can find videos upon videos of people showing off their collections of them. Hundreds of dollars spent on landfill liners.

Disney's a weird animal in the American media footprint on the world. I find Walt Disney himself to be an interesting character, far more interesting than anything the companies bearing his name has put out since the 90s. He's very hard to pin down- obsessed with nostalgia for an idealized time that never was, yet always pushing toward a similarly idealized future. Someone who could be a tough taskmaster to his employees while being America's avuncular and very public entertainment mogul.

Disney the company, really ceased to have anything to do with Walt's legacy outside of using it for branding around the company's more perennially marketable. Sure we have Lilo and Stitch shit, but where's "Davy Crockett's Arsenal" in Frontierland where I can get an AR lower with Fess Parker's grinning mug on it?

Are they like the spoons you'd get at various travel stops, except with more of a Kingdom Hearts weeb vibe? I guess we know what we'll be briefly examining at estate sales in 30-50 years.

This reminded me of the galactic starcruiser, Disney's star wars themed hotel where people pay $5000 to stay at this room for 2 nights.

Lindsay Ellis is the quintesential Disney adult. Wine aunt, womanchild, fag hag, former theater kid. (Its ALWAYS the godamn theater kids) virtue signaler and strange leftist politics despite worshipping one of the most capitalist establishments to ever exist . Her paypigs still pay for her to get drunk on Disneyland several times a year.

Don't know if Clownfish TV has been talked about here yet, but they do have a thread on Kiwi Farms already. (Maybe it can be merged with this one because it's kind of slow.)

Anyway, they're kind of like the anti-disney adults. They used to have a blog about Disney parks but their youtube channel gained success by becoming part of The Fandom Menace/Disney hate bandwagon that became a thing around the time The Last Jedi came out.

So instead of loving Disney they just kind of hate-sperg about anything Disney related, which kind of defines The Fandom Menace in a nutshell.

Pics stolen from their OP.

Remember the motto of Lindsay and other Leftist Disney Adults; "There is no ethical consumption under Capitalism."
That is just bullshit. Hate to get all Moai but that only applies to things like food, clothing and essentials. Marx and Lenin didn't mean for one to spend thousands of dollars on overpriced Disney shit when they came up with that saying. If Lindsay's simps want to pay for her to get drunk on overpriced drinks at Disneyland then by all means just don't go on to me about the virtues of Socialism after doing so.

The fuck? That looks like something out of Star Trek not Star Wars, where's all the grime? You think for 5 grand you could find someone to airbrush and dry brush aging, weathering, and shading. Do these consoomers ever criticize this half assed bullshit?

No one likes to be exposed as an hipocrite, yet thats the correct term to define this behaviour.

For a couple hundred dollars you can get a room with a view in places like Hawaii, the Alps or what not. Here you get what feels like a prison cell with cheap Star Wars crap in it for 5k. That is just both laughable and ridiculous. Also, to answer your question, no these Disney adults don't question this bullshit. They are cultist. Anything made by the cult is amazing.

I love Bright Sun’s videos but I’m still baffled at how he got enough money to go on that cruise. The rates he gives in the video sound insane.
If you are on the influencer list Disney makes it free.

So the people on the influencer list tiptoe and will never ever say anything negative.

If you believe Clownfish, they got removed for criticizing a ride because it had no shade in the line. Then pivoted to the disney hate train.

This changed a bit in the Chapek era, with everyone getting more critical, my theory was that as part of Disneys internal rebellion against him the Pr departments loosened up their rules against criticism to make him look bad.

Devin Christopher Bockhouse, aka PCDev. another American Youtuber who started vlogging his trips to Disney and Universal about 6 years ago and now makes a living off pretty much videoing anything Disney do or host at their Orlando resort.

Now I wouldn't exactly class him as "a Disney Adult" (even though a vast majority of his videos are Disney based) but he wouldn't be worth mentioning without highlighting his run in with the law and complaining about menu service even in the middle of the pandemic.

Dev was arrested and charged back in 2021 for battery after assaulting a resident at his apartment block, Arrest document here (Archive) and subsequent court hearing (Archive). Again I recall seeing something on Tattle Life (ew) that he has lost his media access to the parks and subsequent privileges that came with it. I'll dig further when I get some spare time.

This thread has potential. Disney adults are some of the goddamn worst people.

I’ve got a former friend who is a Disney obsessed adult to the point where it controls her life 24/7. Like “working 70+ hours a week for 48 weeks out of the year to spend a month at a Disney resort” levels of control.

It’s terrifying.

The ones that defend the company and it’s history with pedos are the worst. Sorry, but it’s not normal to hire a dude who is in jail for child to write and direct your next live action children’s project, regardless of what decade it was.

Does she really? Why? Does it just make her that happy?
