In the U.S you can basically keep a sexually disordered offender in custody forever even without a sentence by claiming a danger to the public.
That's one possible route for Chris.

In my state, you can keep sex offenders indefinitely in a post-sentence "treatment" program, but I thought that was highly dependent on what state you are in, and that not all states have that.In the U.S you can basically keep a sexually disordered offender in custody forever even without a sentence by claiming a danger to the public.

This is unacceptable. He may not be put on the SOR. Heilberg might be able to get “sex offense” removed from his record as part of a plea.
Borb, with them being Chris' parents (fuck, during one of the Kacey calls, you hear Barb saying to Chris that they maybe lying to him. God knows how many times Chris' parents tried to hammer this into that putty brain of his), and look how that turned out. The only other one is Josh.I mean, has anyone else in his life ever taught him how to avoid wrens and trolls and people who are just laughing at him?
"Is the defendant still a Mother Fucking Crazy Retard?"
"yes your honor, he is still all of those things"
"well we'll try it again in a few months"
Thing is that this is the result of Chris winning the lottery with a public defender.View attachment 4533553
Low effort but every single Law firm dealing with Chris.
It could also be that Chris did not like the terms that he was being offered if he pled guilty, i.e. going to a home with "slow-in-the-minds" for the rest of his life instead of serving a prison sentence and still having to stay away from his former home upon release so maybe he is still clinging on to the hope that he can still go back to the Temple by not accepting the plea deal.Thing is that this is the result of Chris winning the lottery with a public defender.
Though I have to wonder if, at least initially, Chris would have been willing to go for a guilty plea because he absolutely was owning the fact he did the deed when the car accident occurred and he was saying shit along the lines of 'I fucked my mother because I foresaw she was going to have this terrible crash and somehow re-entering her birth canal would keep her alive after this' (which, again, is hilariously ironic given he later wanted her dead so he could get the house)
Agreed. How can anyone look at his situation and say "Yeah, he's getting away with it!"? On top of all of this, he's not even allowed much human contact at all, being in what amounts to solitary confinement. If that recent claim is to be believed by that anon who says he visited him in jail and drew that sketch, Chris also looks awful. He is quite literally wasting away in jail, almost completely cut off from the outside world and everything he ever knew, and he's got to know on some level the rest of his life is FUCKED. Does this really sound like someone who committed the crime(s) he did, and got away with it?I can't see how some people think Chris is getting away with incest. He's in jail without bond. At the next review, he'll have spent two birthdays alone in a jail cell, and potentially two full years by his August review. That's a significant portion of a person's life. Now that I think about it, maybe the first birthday triggered some outburst that lead him to being hospitalized at Western. His mother might die while he's in jail. He will probably lose his house and all his things. His car is wrecked. If he is ever free he won't be able to do the things he likes like going to conventions because he's become such a pariah they've banned him.
The teflon has worn off the tard.
Even though there's evidence that Chris and Barb have had an incestuous affair together as well as Chris proudly admitting to it, so far everything is pointing towards Chris getting away with it and judging by court system files, he's probably most likely going to get away with it even if we don't want him to. The court is already trying to place Chris inside some group home, they have already had him temporarily stay inside a mental asylum and with Barb not even bothering to provide her evidence (either because she's lazy, she wants to keep the affair private or her dementia made her forget to) and with Chris's lawyer using his autism and mental health as a scape route, it's only a matter of time before the judge just decides to call it quits and drop the case. Besides, I think the judge and the prison are both fed up with Chris and want to get rid of him badly (referencing Chris's letter about the guards pinning him down and the judge writing "amen" in the case files).I can't see how some people think Chris is getting away with incest. And that's how Sockness gets his own Chris Chan necropants.I wouldn't be surprised if some ween or dumbass takes him in and chris spends the rest of his life a lolcow in someone's back bed room being milked till he dies
Here is how you sketch someone who got away with their crime. Doesn't look much like the recent Chris sketch to me.Agreed. Well, at least now we know where he got the sketch of Chris from. And that's how Sockness gets his own Chris Chan necropants.

What I think people mean, when getting away with it is him not really receiving sufficient punishment for his crimes as in having lasting phycological affects on him that will eventually lead him to becoming more self sufficient and really beat into his head that he can't parade around as much as he pleases and have the weight of his situation really hit him like a fucking train. Yes his financial and life situation is pretty dire but in the grand scheme of human suffering he really doesn't have it that bad.Agreed. And it is almost a certainty he has already lost his material possessions, since they've probably been thrown out already. As for him getting the house once Barb dies? I would not bet on that happening. Even if he does, he will not be able to pay the mortgage on it with his complete lack of financial planning, and I don't think his "monthly tugboat" even pays enough money for the mortgage, utilities, and living expenses for him to go back to living at 14BC in the first place.
Whether or not they allow him to go free, or place him in a home, let's also keep in mind that there's still the strong possibility that he will be required to register as a sex offender, which severely limits the places he could even go to once he's released from jail. Even if he's not placed in a home and just released as a 100% free man, no sex offender registry, with his "monthly tugboat", do you think he'd have any idea how to try and pick himself back up? To try and find an apartment or get his car back? Hell no, he's utterly screwed.
Like I said before, his life is FUCKED, and there's basically no way he'll survive long on his own. Frankly, I think the best thing that could happen to him is staying in jail, or being placed in a home where he could be kept under control and safeguarded from assholes who'd take advantage of him.
"I know you just pointed out that Chris' life has been turned completely upside down and that he looks terrible living in solitary confinement for two years straight, BUT HE TOTALLY DOESN'T HAVE IT THAT BAD!"What I think people mean, when getting away with it is him not really receiving sufficient punishment for his crimes as in having lasting phycological affects on him that will eventually lead him to becoming more self sufficient and really beat into his head that he can't parade around as much as he pleases and have the weight of his situation really hit him like a fucking train.
