Bob was told by Nelson Miller that he had to quit the Universal Life Church if he wanted to live with his ex-wife. He wanted Bob to quit because he thought that was what was causing many of the problems with his marriage, the court and the welfare system.
Bob became ordained with the United Christian Ministries Intl, Inc which is a Christian ministry. Things had been going good until one day his youngest son asked him to buy him an ATV. Bob told him no because he had bills to pay. Bob didn’t have the money to buy one and his ex-wife kept telling him to get Bob to buy it. Bob kept telling him he had bills to pay. His ex-wife would tell Bob that he was telling him things that he didn’t need to know and that’s why she divorced him and why Bob had to move the first time.
That’s not what she told Bob when she was coming to his apartment to see him. What gets Bob is that his ex-wife believes that what their sons wanted came first before paying bills. Bob had seen his parents lose money that Bob worked hard for as well as their things from not paying their bills. Bob was not going to be like them. Bob’s in-laws also lost their house and possessions because his ex-mother-in-law couldn’t stop spending money and wanting things. Bob swore to himself and God that he was never going to be like his parents. He was going to pay his bills first and live on what was left over. When you don’t have the money to cover everything, you have to cut back on things you want.
One day Bob found a dog. He calls it a blessing from God when he needed it. After he found it, he called the police and they returned it to the owner. Bob got a card in the mail with $20 in it which was enough for Bob to pay for a cancer insurance bill he owed that his ex-wife wanted him to take out.
Bob’s ex-wife was taking their nephew Mark to the Coshocton county jail to see his dad and she told Bob he had to move out again because he wouldn’t change. He made arrangements to move into the basement of his ex-brother-in-law’s ex-girlfriend’s house that she was renting for $200 a month. While Bob was packing and moving his ex-wife kept making smart jokes about how Bob and her brother’s ex-girlfriend were going to get together. The ex-girlfriend got a new boyfriend as Bob was moving into her house. Bob wasn’t interested in her like everyone thought because of how she was as a person. Bob was being a good friend to her when she asked him if he could buy her some food, stuff for the boys and cigarettes (he says segregates, but I’m assuming he means cigarettes) for her. He would buy them for her and she promised to pay him back. He later learned that she never intended to and was just using him for his money.
Bob’s ex-brother-in-law had been chatting with a woman in Michigan and gave Bob her number. Bob was going to throw it away until one day the ex-girlfriend got the number and called her on Bob’s behalf. Bob talked to her on the phone and decided to go to Michigan to see her. While he was there, she decided to move back to Ohio with him. They lived in the basement together
Bob was asked to move an elderly friend down to Tennessee. She paid him $150, but Bob had to spend $40 of it on his new girlfriend and on food. He drove a Ryder truck down in the rain and fog through Kentucky and Tennessee. Bob’s parents were in Tennessee on vacation. Bob asked if they could come pick him up so they could go back to Ohio together. They did and that was the last vacation that Bob was on with his parents. Bob drove so his dad could have a break. He gave them the money that he had so he wasn’t just relying on his parents to get back home. His mom said he didn’t have to and to use it on something he wanted when they stopped on the way home. His dad wasn’t very happy, but he got over it when they got back.
(Bob went back to his new girlfriend and the house when he got back. Bob’s ex-wife and her sister’s ex-husband were together. Bob knew they were planning on that all along, but she had told Bob it was supposed to be her brother’s ex-girlfriend and him getting together instead. His ex-wife said that since he had a new girlfriend, she needed someone too.)
Bob and his girlfriend were homeless for a month or two before they rented an old mobile home in Coshocton. They were living there in 2005 when hurricane Katrina hit the US and Bob wanted to help. His girlfriend thought Bob wanted to leave her, so she went out and bought a lot of things they didn’t need. She bought 2 to 10 of everything. She said they needed them. She even went and had her own phone hooked up in the bedroom. Bob already had a phone and she was making him upset. She even went and changed their cable package from basic to basic extended and even included the movie channels.
Bob caught her on the computer one night showing her naked body to a guy on cam and she lied to Bob about it. She was also making friends with some of the single guys in the trailer park. Bob was unhappy with what she was doing so he called his parents to come get him for a while so he could go and talk with the sheriff about what she was doing. The sheriff went to talk to her and she said that he wanted her sexually, but the sheriff told Bob that she wanted to have sex with him. Bob tried to make things work, but he knew things were over because of how she was acting with him.
Bob was taking training with the Red Cross to be deployed some place and she thought Bob was going to leave her. His youngest son, the son’s girlfriend, and her brother would stay with them. One night she (the girlfriend?) was visiting a guy friend and one of Bob’s son’s girlfriend’s brother broke a squeeze toy of hers and she got real mad at shouted and made threats towards them and Bob. A neighbor girl came and talked to her and she settled down a bit until Bob wanted to go to bed. She went into the bedroom with her radio and threatened to play it loud. She scratched him on the arm bad and was yelling again. The neighbor called the sheriff. The sheriff came and her dog took off. They didn’t find the dog until a few days later on the other side of town. When they sheriff came they talked to her and told her that if they had to come back, they’d have to take her to jail because the neighbor girl and the scratches showed that she was the problem.
Bob’s parents wanted him to go to their place to cat sit until they got back. He stayed there a week and his parents helped him get another van. Bob continued to study for his psychology and social work diploma and while at their house he completed the course and earned his diploma with a 95% or an A. He got back home and his girlfriend was throwing all of his stuff out of the trailer. She kept calling 911 and the sheriff told her if they had to come back, they’d have to put her in jail. Bob got all of his things and had to go back for more. One day when he went back, she had 2 other men there with her. Bob’s son’s girlfriend said that one of the men wanted to take her to bed. “How sick can people be?”
Bob got his diploma in the mail at his parent’s house from the home course he was taking and he was at his parent’s place waiting to hear from the Red Cross. He got a call but that one fell through. The next day he got another one and got all the information to go down to Biloxi, Mississippi. He was sent down to Biloxi and Gulfport in October of 2005 and was down there for 3 weeks until November of 2005. When he got there, Bob went to the main office where they had all the Red Cross intake workers that got him signed in and got him his photo ID badge and got him placed.
He was placed at first to work with a supervisor at the Biloxi community center where it was hit the hardest. Bob was helping pass out supplies to those who needed them. He was sleeping on a cot in the Navy Base with hundreds of other volunteers. There were no bathrooms or showers, just ones on trucks. They had good food from a catering service company. Bob was there for 3 days then transferred to the Gautier community center where there was a shelter set up for those who lost their homes and had no place else to go. When Bob got back, his then ex-girlfriend had moved back to Michigan.
Bob was staying with his parents and he was looking at another woman on an online dating site. He met this one 30 year old girl and they were talking and she wanted Bob to go meet her and her son. He drove to meet her near the Ohio River across the river from the panhandle of West Virginia. It was snowing and she was going to put Bob up overnight, but her son said he didn’t want Bob to stay with her and she said that Bob had to leave. Bob left to go back home in the snow. He then met another 30 year old girl in Newcomerstown until she had a problem with someone taking a photo of her dead baby and accused Bob of doing it. He met another woman online again and after he went to go see her she told him that she was married and that her and her husband wanted to be with another man for a fantasy they had. Bob told them he was not comfortable doing that and then left.
