She’s one of those “I was poor as a kid so I am doing all the things now” people. That and I’m pretty sure she got molested.

It seems to make her that happy but it’s very unhealthy. Spending every weekend at home alone bc it’s cheaper and it means another new Disney outfit on vacation isn’t a good metric for using your time imho.

That's really sad. Maybe that's all part of it, then. Disney is consistent and predictable, and their parks and resorts offer an experience where you know exactly what you're getting.
If she craves that stability, then it's something she can get there, and it would also explain why other Disney adults get so angry when Disney changes a ride or something.

Another thing I wanted to bring up about my time in Disneyland was how all the employees who worked there looked fucking miserable. I did not see one employee smile while on the job. I've seen people working at Walmart and McDonalds who looked more happy and smiled more than your average Disneyland employee.

On the archive links, since most of those are channels, do I archive the youtube channel itself? They were included as "example places to find content" rather than Ur examples of the concept.
(Everything in "Sample articles", "Related Threads", and "Posts of Note" already go to existing KF links with archives)

I would. You never know when channels might disappear off the face the earth or get a name change. I've seen both.

Another thing I wanted to bring up about my time in Disneyland was how all the employees who worked there looked fucking miserable. I did not see one employee smile while on the job. I think this is just a case of "expectation vs reality". Nobody thinks that working at McDonald's will be interesting in any possible way; at the same time, working at Disneyland may seem like a dream job or even life goal, but in reality it's just an exhausting and boring job as a costumed character performer like anywhere else, maybe with a slightly better salary.
UPD. Internet says it's $11-20 per hour.

Guess the reason why Disney is going woke is because they see more and more of the youth adopting far left ideologies, and they mistakenly believe that it's how things will be in the future, so they try to cater to those people. The people who will hate them no matter what.

The smart thing, of course, would be to simply ignore those people and wait until the societal illness has run its course. The only real sustainable market for Disney to cater to is parents with children. You know, those who are statistically more likely to be conservative or politically moderate/apathetic.

The only other explanation for why Disney has gone woke, is not only because they think it's how things will be in the future, the other possibility is that the company is actually infested with leftists who genuinely want to see the company burn.

Whenever the left does defend Disney, or any of the content they put out these days, it's usually because they see Right wingers attack it, and they hate social conservatives and other chuds more than they hate capitalism.

When given a choice between siding with crony capitalists or social conservatives, they will always pick the former, because they're fucking degenerates.

i could understand parents taking their children to disneyland/world as like a family getaway, make memories together and all that. my parents never took me, but i would've loved that when i was a kid.

There is another more sinister reason as to why Disney is doing this and that is China. China more or less is in control of BlackRock which is the largest investment firm in America and Disney's main investor. China wants to be the worlds leading super power and anybody that knows history knows that there can not be two super powers at the same time. Look at Rome and Carthage for example. China knows that the best way to destroy America's prominence isn't with war but by attacking America's cultural and spiritual core and replacing it with the aesthetic and materialism. A country with no culture makes for a easy conquest. Disney is just a useful idiot for China.
