One reason May might be sticking around and letting a fat, ugly, greasy alcoholic drug addict abuse her and her child is she knows the only other option is returning home to be a single mom for many years. Pantsu is selfish above all, so while Rochester would be great for Rozy it wouldn’t be “fun” for May, and Rozy is never her priority, her priority is having a man. Pantsu thinks having a male partner is absolutely vital to ger identity and she will not have many options for dating after leaving Ralph given a baby and her online history.
OTOH I could see her dropping off Rozy in Rochester and moving elsewhere to start a new life. I don’t believe she cares about the baby given the danger and chaos she chooses to let her live in. Throwing you baby in the back seat, with no car seat, while your drunk, Xanax addicted husband tries to drive is just inexcusable on every level. The trad wife not just cooked dinner or ordered in to prevent that shit, but giving drunk Ralph content to stream was the priority.
It’s always ironic that many women who base their entire worth on having “a man” seem to get the absolutely worst specimens.
