I am guessing it has got to a stage where his personal reality is that he would be a successful writer, talking head, pundit and local hero if it were not for these stalkers swatting and mocking him on twitter.

I also suspect that his drinking is worse, as in he is drinking heavily and regularly.

Anyone who has spent time dealing with a near or full on alcoholic knows that the alcohol helps them believe their own reality, even when they are not actively drunk at the time.

When I was taking the piss earlier about him sucking cock for beer and then having to drink even more to kill the memory, while maybe he is not drinking specifically for that reason, he certainly could be drinking more because reading a load of horrible shit about yourself is of course traumatizing.

I would imagine it’s even worse when it’s true and you know it.

But the worst has to be when it is random total strangers speculating on your life and their mean spirited guesses are accurate.

I picked up a copy of Gate Crashers at a used bookstore today for $6 - totally pristine; the other book I got has spine wear, this one had never been cracked. I had it on kindle but thought a physical copy would be better for flipping through looking for lines like this:

This seems more like a case of finding things to stack against someone who's already fat and stupid. What's a particularly bad paragraph from this book?
