He's not getting any younger, and he knows it. Remember when those kids mistook him for a creepy old man? And then there's the fact he had big dreams moving to Vegas and none of them came true. And all that is on top of his lawsuits and systematically isolating himself from any support structure (i.e. friends and family) because they refused to support his insane dreams. Even if his acknowledgement is only subconscious, he's aware that he's a failure in every way. And then he sees the Instathots he lusts after having boyfriends and husbands who aren't him.

In short, he's aware that he's an aging failure. I'll head off the inevitable questions now and say that no, I don't think Russell will engage in violence or otherwise try to imitate the Supreme Gentleman. However, I do think he'll have a mental breakdown at some point in the future, and it'll be the absolute high point of this thread.

My thoughts of that always end with Russ grabbing a dull butter knife and tripping over his own shoelaces down a flight of stairs and ending up in the ER.

Borrowing from a statement I hear often- Never underestimate Russhole's ability to fuck things up.
