I was on a site that was a combo of finding friends/romance/penpals and I started talking to a guy in Italy. After about a month, and after I told him about a money issue I was having, he said he loved me and wanted to marry me and he would pay off my debt. He had an "international delivery company" contact me with a picture of the supposed money and asking for my info. The scam part? They needed $2,500 upfront to deliver the money to me. Sure, it's not a $9,000+ perfume scam, but there are lowlifes who will suddenly love you and want to marry you as long as money is involved. Luckily I'm not a retarded 400-pound whale and didn't fall for the grift.

Edit: I was wrong, I guess whatsapp is just a storefront so that they can deliver the shitty perfume to you. However, you wouldn't know you need to leave your address for delivery unless you visited their website first. And they don't seem responsive on WhatsApp after you place your order. These two aren't exactly genius businessmen.

Regardless, I think they're tricking fatties into investing in their shitty business.
