You can petition and get things de-listed from Google in Europe now. Not whole sites, but items about you. I don't know if that's the way things are going or not, but it's concerning.

Which is why someone desperately needs to invent better search engines and social media platforms and host them in Dontgiveafuckistan. I'd kick in a few bitcoins. If I had any.

Like the recent Duffy decision in Australia (which also involved Google and delisting), there's been a lot of unwarranted hysteria about this from both sides.

Nora Reed, we are laughing at you because your spastic, obsessive behavior is amusing to watch. Our primary motivation is amusement, and you provide it in spades. We're not trying to shut you up, because then our source of amusement dries up. Our ultimate end goal is to keep you on the same path you're currently on, because that is what is funniest.

Good to see that Nora is directing her supporters to go help the "smaller" people.

You might ask yourself what, exactly, is happening to these "smaller" people, or why they need so much vague "support." Or you might ask yourself, given how terrible her situation is, why Nora doesn't need any help. But the answer is clear:

--Nora's current situation is the worst
--Nora herself is the best

Accepting help would mean acknowledging that Nora is not better than the "smaller" people who can't cope. That won't do. So she needs you to find someone whose situation is just like Nora's, but who is worse off (because they are not nearly as awesome as Nora.) That way you do not accidentally acknowledge that other non-Nora situations might be worse or more important than what Nora is going through. And, at the same time, you realize how relatively brave and popular she is. Compared to the smaller people.

It is all very noble when you think about it, and not at all condescending or egotistical.


On another note, I do not think that I have ever seen someone who is so obviously muted by the vast majority of their followers.

Fun fact about Cloudflare.

Cloudflare's service is able to exist because it makes absolutely zero content claims. It does not do a fucking thing to the websites it protects. That's why it's able to legally continue to exist despite covering:

- Nazi websites.
- KKK websites.
- Hard core snuff websites.
- Fucking ISIS.

Fucking ISIS uses Cloudflare and the Government probably allows it because they get some leverage over the content being distributed from their servers. It lets them be MitM (Man in the Middle) and see what's going on. Cloudflare breaks HTTPS encryption at entry point, so any data sent thru Cloudflare can be read by the Cloudflare and very likely, the NSA.
