I'm not entirely sure why the Department for Education. Brianna's school is an academy, which means they don't have to follow the national curriculum. I guess something around safeguarding? According to the Ofsted reports they'd improved all their student pastoral care stuff, there's not much else the DfE can do.

Keir Starmer is the left wing leader of the opposition, who said Trans Women Are Women but biological sex differences exist and also under 18s are a bit young to make permanent life altering decisions like surgery or changing legal sex. This is contrasted against the current right wing Prime Minister who has gone on TV to say woman means adult human female, personally intervened to block Scotland's gender reforms and is overseeing the closure of trans youth clinics. thanks so much for posting this! it's almost funny that it turned out like many of us assumed it would, and that's just one protes- um, sorry, I mean totally non-violent, law-abiding 'vigil' of many to come. at least the men stuck to defacing public property with no concern for the underpaid people having to clean up after them instead of punching women or something.

I didn't find it when searching here so rare late if old. Some medical malpractice lawyer posted a blog about that Missouri trans hospital whistleblower.

The last paragraph sums it up.

But I will say that, if the article is accurate, that is is being done in a wholly unscientific way, without proper evaluations, and that many kids will be hurt as a result. And that proceeding in such fashion would make a very strong case for medical malpractice if the kids change their mind and irreversible changes have occurred.
