It kind of still shocks me that this washed up looking gym teacher is still getting 10,450 patrons a month paying for his shit. Shit that they will only see once a year with haphazard autistic effort.

It's actually more retarded than that, because his videos are free to watch anyway, so they're not paying for anything. Even if he was only getting $1/month out of them, that's still an insane amount of money for doing absolutely nothing of value and these idiots are choosing to go out of pocket to fund this man's comfortable lifestyle because... they just think it's a noble cause I guess? It's depressing sometimes to think about how many suckers there are in the world.

That's because the guy who couldn't draw could fucking write you stupid moron. If his garbage drawings were all he had, he would be one of a billion other no name online artists who gets maybe 3 views a month if he was lucky.

The only artists I see complaining about AI art are hacks who can't compete with it. If your so shit at your supposed "job" that AI can take it over, then you are completely unnecessary and replaceable. Its not the AI's fault that your a talentless hack with no other abilities, maybe you should either be better at your job or be in a different field.

AI artwork is as generic as you can get;
I’ve already come to recognise it on sight just from the style. If your art is so vapid that it’s barely discernible from a blended average of everyone else’s work, then your art is shit and you have nothing of unique value to offer.

It's overhyped, a best Diffusion looks decent at times but is visibly flawed when looking at finer details (AI fingers are infamous at this point). There's still a long way to go before it can replace anything by professional hands. That "AI-made" video that blew up recently took hours of real footage and compiled images to make too. Harry can use these applications for his thumbnails at best "Why AI art is not what you think". The YouTube algorithm could bless that one.

Man this dude really did fall off. I used to watch him regularly when his main content was shitting on the SargonoSphere, because prior to that I had sort of fallen into that crowd out of a dislike for SJW types, and his videos were good exposes of the retardation that sphere exhibits. I didn't follow him hardcore, I just saw a few videos of his, saw one in particular where he proved without a shadow of a doubt that Sargon only watched the first 5 minutes of his last video, saw sargon had a tantrum in the comments, and realized that trading SJW retardation for manosphere retardation probably wasn't a good way to live my life, and moved on.

Years later I get his fallout New Vegas video in my recommended feed. New Vegas is my favorite game ever, so I watch it, and it says nothing interesting. It's just a bog standard condensation of all the good things about New Vegas, without anything really interesting to say about it. (There's tons of interesting things to say about New Vegas, Honest Hearts is a fantastic portrayal of Religion, and in particular Protestantism, The NCR's campaign in the Mojave is a brilliant bit of social commentary considering the timeframe the game came out in, and Ulysses, despite his writing being grating at times, is a brilliant foil to an RPG protagonist) It took two fucking hours to say basically nothing at all, and that rubbed me the wrong way.

That's how it is with all of his videos. They take too fucking long to say whatever it is he's trying to say. It doesn't take two hours to go over the history of the fucker that started the Antivax movement in the UK, It doesn't take two hours to go over the career of the guy who made the roblox oof sound effect, it doesn't take two hours to talk about how fucking bad Sherlock is, and it DEFINITELY doesn't take 3 hours to talk about how ok you think deus ex 4 or whatever is. That all being said, his shorter, higher level videos are actually pretty good. His Director's cut video is good, his VHS video is good, and his flat earth video is genuinely hilarious, and his Ctrl Alt Delete video's interlude about The Room is really good too.

Basically, making all of his income from patreon removes any incentive to put out video in a timely manner, and since he has no time limit, his videos rapidly become autistic vanity projects that balloon in length for no good reason. This happens a lot with breadtubers, something about people with radical leftist views being leeches who aim to con the workers into supporting them, same as it ever was I guess. In regards to the DK64 stream, I think that was a mistake on his part. Noticing how much he's downplayed it, he doesn't mention the charity in specific anymore, there's been no follow up support or stream from him, I think he honestly didn't know that Mermaids was a hive of abuse, and when that became obvious he quietly backed off as best he could.

I think you're being too generous. Like all British TRAs, he probably still fully supports Mermaids and if he decided to speak out about it, he'd claim that all the criticism is just a transphobic conspiracy. He would perhaps say there's just a few rotten apples, but that helping children transition is a good thing even if it's achieved in ways most would consider unethical. As usual, the inconvenient testimony of detransitioners would be ignored as much as possible.

But he's too much of a coward to open that can of worms and openly defend his beliefs, so he's staying quiet. Obviously I can't know for certain but I really doubt he's changed his mind. Troonery is like a religion and it's very difficult for most people to reject their sincerely-held religious beliefs.

Pretty much and good luck on ever telling an AI to frame things in an exact certain way that only a talented artist can do.

Just in terms of Pop Art look at Watchmen's legendary Chapter 5 "Fearful Symmetry." How the story, the panels, the artwork, even key words are done in effect to be a mirror of itself.

That only happens when you have a dedicated smart writer and a brilliant artist collaborating at the top of their game.

The only people who are feeling the pain of AI Art are people who make money off commissions. And really they should adapt or die. The idea that they're fighting off technological improvements is so childlike. Should we make Elevators shittier so there can be more people hired on as Elevator Operators?

Maybe, I won't say you're completely out of pocket, good God we've all seen some nightmares beyond comprehension come out of Merrie England as of late, but I think I didn't make exactly what I was trying to say clear. I don't think he is no longer a TRA, I think he no longer supports mermaids. He probably does believe that at least part of the allegations are true, but probably hasn't put together that the problem is greater than just mermaids in specific. I imagine he's got a classic case of doublethink, he KNOWS that mermaids fucking sucks, and has backed off supporting them, and he also KNOWS that "trans rights are human rights" and he also probably KNOWS (deep down) that coming out and saying "hey mermaids is a hive of scum and villainy and I shouldn't have donated all that money" is tantamount to career suicide. Maybe you're right though, I like his videos a lot, and disregarding trans shit and his more Breadtube-y beliefs I find him palatable as a content creator, so I'm given to lending the benefit of the doubt. We'll have to see.
