This is spot on and also applies to other clothing he’s been wearing for years like his Black Lives Matter (I hate that my iPhone autocorrects this to be capitalized) hoodie. He wears certain things to make certain statements and spends his money on edibles and other items of self indulgence.

So, he's disabled, but he can "pick you up and drop you back off if you need a ride locally" and "run an errand or two with you" That doesn't sounds like something a "disabled" person would say. Hopefully the people evaluating his disability application are aware of how able her really is. Of course, he says he's disabled without actually having any certification that he is such. At this point I'd honestly call him a disability faker.

Also, most people that are "unhoused" are so for a very good reason, usually related to violence, addiction they are unwilling to treat, mental illness they are unwilling to treat, being a criminal that is actively being pursued, or being unwilling to abide by the simple rules and reasonable policies of a shelter or section 8 housing. Any reasonable person who is not violent, an addict, dangerously mentally ill, or a criminal, can typically find shelter with any number of religious or unaffiliated organizations. I say this as someone who has extensive experience working with and for organizations in the non-profit and NGO sector.

Dave is completely full of shit. Also he obviously doesn't care about his cat as random people coming in and out of his apartment would be very stressful for any cat.

And what Dave's (pretending to be) offering is one of the common pitfalls for homeless people transitioning into housing.

Someone finds themself in an apartment while the rest of their network of friends/family/dealers is still on the street. It starts with offering phone charges, letting friends stay on the couch, then they're coming and going at all hours, substances come in and after a few complaints, the original rehomee is back on the street.

Dave knows nobody is going to take him up on this, because he's posting about it to strangers online. If he were truly homeless and not just slumming on his daddy's dime, the word that Dave's got a place would have already filtered through the lumpenproletariat grapevine.

I don't doubt he doesn't wash it, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he bought a pack of six or whatever and just replaces them when the old one gets too ratty. I also expect that he wears it to hide his baldness and make himself look more like a hospital patient, and therefore disabled. If it was truly about looking like a woman, he'd wear a wig, but from what I can tell he basically wears the do-rag and a muumuu and a few trans badges and expects that to be enough signifiers that he's a True and Honest woman.

But, as noted, it's not really about being trans for Dave. It's about trying to assert control over the people around him by making him play along with his charades. He's the epitome of the Nice Guy incel that troons out to get closer to women and tries to manipulate them into sexytimes. About the only good thing about him is I suspect he's very bad at it, so the results are more like that woman from a few pages back - where, even at her most vulnerable, she got out and away from him.

Nice epitaph there, Dave. 'David Muscato: He never successfully raped anyone.'

Another anti-social man that would have learned to behave if another man had beaten the shit out of him in his formative years. Right now he is behaving like a dog without boundaries, and he won´t stop until someone show him that there will be painful consequences. People like Dave will always be a raging asshole, but in another time he´d be reining it in big time out of fear of reprisal.

His parents ensuring he doesn't have to face the consequences of his actions by bailing him out all the time sure doesn't help either. Lots of parents would or have helped out their fuck up kid. You don't want to see your child homeless or with untreated medical problems or whatever. My parents would help me out and I'd help my kids out for sure. The other thing for sure is there'd be some fucking rules and boundaries.

I sure as shit wouldn't be able to crawl back to my parents and cry poor with the safe full of guns and expensive tacticool bullshit I have. How many canoes and fishing poles do I actually need for a day on the pond? I seriously doubt they'd require me to sell everything besides the clothes on my back and shit for work, but I'd certainly be paying some amount of rent, bill, and food money someway somehow. Same with my kids. Their ass would be paying their way as they're able and they'd be doing everything necessary to get out of whatever fucked up situation they got themselves into.

How many guitars does everyone thing Dave has sold to pay for food, rent, or medical bills?
