People have been making fun of the new mirage design because he's now literally just Jazz but called mirage and his face looks as I've seen comments say "extremely punchable". I have no clue how in the FUCK gender comes into this shit but I'm guessing it's just another excuse to bring up the fact there's a "canon trans transformer" in IDW. Unlike the other comic exclusive characters there's been no figures made of them yet like the other IDW characters got figures. Maybe someday they will make one but Rung Nautica and Tarn (and autobot megatron if you count the model kits or character variants) are the only comic-exclusive characters aside from the Marvel comics transformer Jhiaxus that got made into actual figures as far as I know.

Also, the whole shit with depth charge really fucking confuses me. why the fuck would you return a manta ray transformer due to "buyer's remorse"? Isn't buyer's remorse the thing where you defend a shit product because you bought into it? The original beast wars toys are known for having really nice articulation on top of detail and looking it up depth charge still only runs the gambit of roughly 30-ish dollars used online with some outliers. Leader class figures are like fucking 54 dollars now unless you get a discount and are a lot less hefty than the old transformers, as well as stripped of any sort of fun gimmicks the old toys had. It'd be cool to see him with modern engineering but if you buy the original used off someone you are getting a lot more for your money. Fucker should want it to be a voyager if only due to the fact leader class transformers now are always voyager scale transformers with extra accessories, and I cannot for the life of me think of an accessory that would make depth charge worth fucking leader price.
