Carnivore Diet / Ancestral Living / Lion Diet - Food abominations, pseudoscience and cholesterol problems galore!

And my point is that there would be no such thing as a paleo diet.
If you had tons of animals that are easy to hunt you'd be eating mostly meat. If you had tons of roots and fruits around you, you'd be eating mostly plants. Depending on your geography/season/whatever.
not necessarily
look at the pajeet land
They would have a great country if they had converted into a more a non veg land and yet choose to be vegetarians
similarly
snowy and chilly countries still go with agriculture
the thing is never about survival, but variety, eating the same boiled chicken every day is just boring.
That's why Europeans established trading companies to get some spices in their food.

Very interesting. As far as I'm aware the only group of people that sustain on purely meat are the Inuit/Eskimos due to their being almost no vegetation that far up north. Do any of them cite that or is it all oversimplified "we hunted the mammoth" ancestor worship malarkey?

"You may not have come from a hunter-gather tribe but your DNA remembers where it came from! Adaptation? What's that? Fuck you! Buy my book and program!"
People should just eat what they want and hit the fucking treadmill.
No. Fitness should be easy and come from obeying this one weird rule that dieticians hate, not from an input-output method!

They did eat thw shit they had nearby because in the old days people hadn't invented ships and shit yet to bring in shit they didn't have from far away. God damn.

Even when ships were invented the cost of shit from far away was expensive and people ate mainly shit that was nearby.

Again, getting 2000 to 3000 calories from plant sources is such a gargantuan task, you'd burn more energy than you'd get.
So a water melon has 30 calories per 100g, and an average melon weighs 10kg. So that's 3000 calories just by picking a single melon.

And okay, this is a modern bred fruit and hardly representative of stone age fruits but so is a steak from a well-fed bred cow compared to some starved game meat.

paleo diet? shieeet i never heard of it lmao.
I will now put it on future gf qualities list along with not ruining my life
One too many of my brain cells died reading the replies for me to target the right clause in that guys post.

I've edited the fucking OP. Please read the bold red text before saying that you couldn't be vegan during the caveman days.

>casually ignoring tubers

Potatoes have 70+cal/100g, carrots 40+, sweet potatoes 80+ and yams a whopping 100+

So a village of 200 people would need to find 200 fully grown melons, every single day. And not farmed, ofcourse, but found. And in the case of a larger village, let's say 1000 people? They need to find 1000, fresh, fully grown melons every single day. Even at half of that, 500 melons per day is just asinine

Meanwhile the same 100g in meat could provide more than 5 times the amount of calories.

And again, where would you get the neccesary fats, proteins and micronutrients?

Hunter-gatherers with that lifestyle wouldn't even be able to survive. Hell, the lack of protein in general would mean they'd waste away.

Casually ignoring settlements, inventing agriculture, plant foods more calorie dense than watermelon, and the fact that diets other than vegan and carnivore exist.

Dumb.

Oh yeah, the famous hunter-gatherer agriculture. How could I forgot that?

Enlighten me then, which fruit are rich in the essential amino-acids and essential fatty-acids? The fat in meat provides far more energy than fruit ever will. Especially if it's gathered, because that's at such a smaller scale, it's just no comparison.

I don't know, maybe the scenario of a village of 200 is unrealistic? Wikipedia says the hadza tribe has groups of 20-30 people, usually.

And usually societies with more people either become herders or farmers.

I don't know, maybe the scenario of a permanent settlement like a village is fundamentally incompatible with hunter-gathering since you'd deplete the resources in your area?

And besides, I believe i had established that bringing in hunter gatherers is somewhat off topic in the discussion of a 21st century American carnivore considering that even the hadza get 60% of their calories from things other than meat

But other than that you have my apologies: i should have tagged the other guy

I wasn't sure whether the Aajonus cult should even be included. They are a small community, for reasons you will see later, with very little presence outside of a few small subreddits.

In terms of retardation they stand head and shoulders above the others, including sv3rige. On one hand, they include some things like honey and vegetable juice. On the other hand, they more than make up for it with the inclusion of "high meat" in their diet.
Courtesy of Reddit, this is a recipe for "high meat" written by Aajonus:

Why would they bother to do this? They claim that the bacteria "pre-digest" it, making the texture softer and supposedly allowing more nutrients to be extracted.1676752110992.png
Obviously, eating rotten meat has severe health consequences. According to them, this is in fact a good thing, because the body is undergoing detox. Ironically, they have this in common with raw vegans.

Their tolerance of bacteria extends even to parasites

I don't need to explain any further why these people are insane. So enjoy some pictures of their food.
