How clean are the beaches/oceans he's been visiting away from the primary resorts? I've spent some time on the other side of Mexico in and around Puerto Vallarta and there are definitely beaches where you don't want to get in the water as local sewers drain straight into it not far from shore. This isn't a knock on Mexico either by the way - the same thing happens in the US all up and down the Mississippi River.

There has been several seaweed (sargassum) outbreaks in the past decade around that area of the Caribbean. There's uncertainty as to what's causing it but it's an international problem.

Some people are blaming that algae are reproducing faster due to CO2 but who knows.

Apparently it some how got translated, and the people of Cancun found out. They tried lynching him. They gave him nickname on social media "Lord Nazi Ruso" or in English "Lord Russian Nazi".
