The great thing about the trans lobby is that they come across as dangerous, violently mentally ill men. I mean I'm pointing out this article, but this is not the only case like this I've seen. I'm not sure if this works out well for them or not. It doesn't seem to put a dent in their institutional support, and as long as they have that institutional support we're stuck with them. This is the real reason grassroots culture wars never change anything for the better.

The rate of accepting FtMs as real men is rather not much higher that the rate of accepting MtFs as real women but FtMs are just genuinely very sad and thus less of a laughing matter and revenge target. It has biological roots: men are kind of expendable, it is expected that some will fail (dying in wars, wasting their lives on addictions, trooning out…) and their part at reproduction will be rather trivially taken care of by the others. But when a woman dies or gets sterilized, that's a different story, it's a womb that is lost and can't be replaced.
So basically, it's the pity and sadness that men cannot expect because it's just normal that some of them will fail like that.

This character is fantastic because it's a perfect object lesson on the futility in appeasing troons. Thus far from what I've seen, this character is *exactly* what the troons have claimed to want. The game dialogue even does that thing where the woke viewpoint on troons is just assumed normal, that the world "realized" he was a woman all along, etc. Every single character treats his troonery as if it were just like an eye color or a skin tone. The community treats him like a pillar; not a single unkind thing to say about him.

It's not enough. It's never enough. The character is even VOICED by a troon, and it's "transphobic". What did the troons want? What's bad representation about it? Is it because he behaves like a normal person instead of a skinwalking sex pest? Is it because he doesn't send us on a mission to stop the goblins from stealing his magical HRT stash? It's viscerally entertaining to me that a troon character who exhibits none of the vile narcissistic and histrionic personality traits every troon in real life has is "transphobic". Is that why it's "bad representation"? Because seeing a troon not behaving like an insane attention-whoring freak means it's unrealistic? It would explain the apathy I feel. I don't know every FtM trying to act male just comes across as pitiful to me. A lot of them also tend to exclude themselves from male spaces anyways (I'm talking like work social groups or guys nights out, not nerd stuff like video games or other stuff) because they usually fucking hate how men act around them even though that's the norm around us. It's like I don't need to be exclusionary, they exclude themselves right out the door themselves without me being an influence. I'm not a bully, but a lot of them view me as one and a lot of the other men in my social group disagree.

in my limited experience FtM trans people seem to be more accepting of their status in society, and don't seem to care as much what anyone else thinks. the one's I've personally known were just weird masculine lesbians who were into tomboy bro stuff who just said fuck it and kept going. in comparison almost every single MtF I've had the displeasure of knowing (barring one subordinate at a job I had who I didn't hate) was a degenerate sex pest who terminally lived online in echo chambers who showed absolutely no signs of gender dysmorphia or interest in feminine things until they decided to proudly announce they were a "woman" now to anyone who would listen and all the sudden became obnoxious and came down with a permanent case of being oppressed. The majority of them I think were just unremarkable guys who decided to by any means necessary get attention.
