Because in the end, even if InRange was created for Karl and Ian's little experiment, it's not really doing any real service to the world. Forgotten Weapons, even with Ian getting some things wrong on occasion (there's only so much research he gets to do before a video, particularly on a quick auction or collection trip), is a huge repository of historical gun information available to anyone with an internet connection.
