The worst part is that at this point I can't tell if he's genuine or not, he's shattered any bit of credibility his word may have at one point had.

Chances are he is genuine about this. This is what most American gun owners want. NFA is a hindrance on average people wanting certain types of weapons but have to be on a registry. Machines are the best examples. After the Hughes Amendment went into effect, no one is allowed to make or sell machine guns to citizens made after 1986. This caused MGs that are already on the registry and transferable to citizens to sky rocket in price. Its been awhile but last time I checked a full auto AR lower was $16,000 plus the $200 tax and all the other paperwork that goes with it. Demolishing the NFA would fuck those people who own these types of weapons (monetarily at least) and allow average people to buy and produce machine guns, destructive devices, suppressors etc.

Demo Ranch is the McJuggerNuggets/Pewdiepie of GunTubers. I used to like his videos when he was doing dumb stuff like microwaving bullets and shooting stuff for the sake of shooting it. However, when the focus turned to vlogging with a little gun content, he lost me. I think he mostly appeals to those that like guns, but can't get them because they're kids or airsofters.

I know, if those two ever seriously butted heads I doubt either of them would be capable of breaking it off and would keep at it until one of them died or the website they were having their spat on went offline. I think Karl would fold first, and I can think of 2 reasons for that:

1) Pat might have written books, but he's of average intelligence at best. Maybe actually retarded. Karl on the other hand (as foolish as he is) is kinda intelligent, and would eventually realize he's got better things to do. it could take a while tough.

2) Pat has an near infinite amount of energy when it comes to be a contrarian and getting the last word. Near infinite as in "sometimes dozens of stalkers get individually tired of discussing with him before he does".

Little is known about said energy reserves besides the fact that they are located in the person's bitch tits. Luckily for Karl, his are much smaller.
