Now I'm not trying to go full schizo here, but i do find it kinda suspicious how, especially after all the shit last time with Vshojo dominating the Streamys, It is still only Vshojo and their orbiters who got into the finales. There has to be some sort of either Favoritism going on if not outright vote manipulation to get that lineup.

To give Vshojo some credit, it might be the Award show themselves only picking twitch streamers, and none of the Holo girls really stream on twitch, but still pretty bad look on VShojos part.

I dont know how to say this, mostly because I really dont know how to say it, as English is not my native language so I'll try to express my thoughts the best way I can.
I dont think is actually favoritism of who they like most, I think the problem is that this is an event where streamers attend in person and go on stage to accept their awards, and in the case of vtubers they would at least be on video. And Hololive is the most closed company there ever was, theres absolutely no way that if any holo member won anything they could have even a video of them thanking them or saying anything.
Vshojo and Nijisanji are really free to do whatever they want and collab with whoever, there have been collabs with Ironmouse, Niji, OfflineTV&Friends that just happened because they needed more people and someone says something like "wait I'll ask" and Ironmouse, some Niji or Sykkuno ends up joining.

It's a known fact that this is a Ludwig and friends awards. Personally I like Ludwig and Offline TV (minus Pokimane who I think is an actual bitch), and Ludwig has played with Ironmouse, he has a Bro VS bro with her, he was in Talk with the Devil and Mousey even sang in QTCinderella's christmas concert, where people were singing on stage in front of everyone attendindg, and she was put on an Ipad.
Thats just how things are, and every mainstream award works like that, the Oscar for best movie o Grammy to best album is rarely the actual best, its all fixed behing the scenes.

Lumi is by far my favorite of Phase so it's very nice to see her doing well, I really don't like the new eyes on her model though and Christ almighty do I hate Twitch. The noise prompts, emotes on screen, often unskipable ads because Amazon are cunts and like to work around any blockers, and the fact the stream shits out completely when I dedicate my internet to something else (despite having fiber) while YouTube just drops the quality inspire so much hate.

She also needs to bring back gremlumi and play more golf. #JusticeForGremlumi

Vshojo is more of a Indie Streamer collective and not a corp like Cover or Niji, so its a unfair comparison, i will be honest however i fully expect Vshojo to fall apart eventually, either slowly or quickly, 100% because of drama in the group.

If holos or nijis had made strong attempts to get in it'd be more questionable. I think the more likely cause is that the existence of the awards was publicized mostly in normie twitch streamer fanbases who vote for Vshojo because those are the only vtubers they know of.

With all the drama VShojo finds itself in, no need to wait for it to start falling apart, it's been happening since the drama THEY started against Nux when he exposed a phishing scam. Hell, they can't even defend themselves or the company they're a part of, let alone each other.

One thing VShojo are in need of sorely is COMPETENT MANAGEMENT. As it stands, they don't even have decent management beyond themselves. If the company ever did have management, they are CUCKED beyond saving, especially since Nyanners can bitch behind the scenes at everyone to get what she wants.

hate to say it I prefer twitch because it was actually build for streaming, compared to susannealtube's constant incompetence trying to catch up. twitch is also less anal about certain things compared to youtube (and worse about others, but at least it doesn't try to be kid friendly constantly). in the end it's a competition between diarrhea and constipation.

Just a general observation, but I was thinking today about how she's been on an absolute tear since Tsunderia went under. She said previously that if the company had folded 6 months ago, she wouldn't have been prepared to strike out as an indie. Note: I don't know who the Male vtuber is, but all the others are either VShojo or have worked with them so im just lumping him in.

Even if Cover or Niji didn't apply or have a large push to get in the running, the total lack of anyone But VShojo and Co is going to rub people the wrong way. Not saying people like Mouse or Lily don't deserve nominations, but the fact this is two Award shows in a row having ONLY Vshojo and friends (excluding code miko) as the nominees is very curious.

Now to disprove my own RRat it is very possible that this is the fault of these award shows not giving a shit about streamers off Twitch, excluding big names like Ludwig, now Kiara nominating several of Holoen and tweeting it publicly does sorta make me wonder how big Vshojos push was, but its whatever i guess.
If this happens a third time i will shit bricks.
