It's striking to me that the MC is what, 14, 15? And by the time he's been in school two days he's killed the shit out of like a dozen people and gives zero fucks. After he finishes cutting a bloody swath of flame and tears through a poacher camp, he says, "Looks like their poaching days are over." Yeah, their breathing days are over too. Damn dude, that's cold. Unless I somehow missed it, the game makes no attempt to even pretend that you're taking people alive, except for the petrify spell when you're sneaking. Avada kedavra in his hands is probably merciful compared to the countless people he's hideously killed with fire and other magic, at least it's supposed to be an instant painless kill.

I'm pretty sure my character is a psychopath. She says stuff like "You shouldn't have followed Ranrok", "Now the beasts are safer" and spends most of the game lighting people and goblins on fire. I guess if you poached on the King's land it probably was the death penalty though.

And don't forget pelting people with exploding barrels... After turning people's friends INTO those exploding barrels.

If someone wants to read a bit on Empress, potential seeker of girlfriend-free boyfriend, a redditor made what looks like an effortpost on her (?) (a)
I'm honestly impressed (disappointed) people were suprised someone from the scene ended up being an attentionwhore. Like that is quite literally the fucking point.
Especially the one that decided to get handsy with leechers. Cuz morals (money).

Anyways at least the crack for this game is due soon. Much like the crack she snorts.

This is something a lot of video games struggle with.
You want to have exciting combat with a lot of enemies but on the other hand you want your MC to be one of "the good guys".

I remember in the Tomb Raider prequels/reboots they made a big deal about Lara killing her first enemy in self defense and struggling to come to terms with it during the first third of the game. Or at least thats what one would think from the story-cutscenes. During the normal gameplay loop you have to kill hundreds of enemies and Lara even seems to have fun doing it.

At least in Hogwarts Legacy, your 15 year old is a consistent psychopath.

Lol, its gone "protected" now, but some insane tranny made a "Hogwarts Legacy Purchase Simulator" where every time you buy the game it shows the passage of anti trans laws. At the end, Rowling herself pops up to congratulate you for “defending sex-based rights” if you buy enough copies. Alternatively, if you don’t, she accuses you of “silencing women.”

Honestly I don't even care about Hogwarts but what a great ad for the game!

To be fair, it's not like the poachers/Ashwinders/whatever human enemies are making any great effort to take you alive either. Harlow flat-out tries to kill you with the Killing Curse in one cutscene.

Maybe it was just a thing in the Wizarding World back then. With great power comes great responsibility and a fuckton of corrupt people trying to end you from an early age, so kill or be killed. As time went on and progressed to the current day, maybe that fell out of favor for more diplomatic ends.

Empress drama continues, s/he's on full rage mode on Telegram, seething at faggots and trannies, doing a women solidarity and mocking her adversaries "I'm Russian, you cannot touch me with your faggy ways!"
What about KGB? Can they?
Oh... oh wait, hold on... oh sorry, KGB is commie thing, it's called FSB these days...
Question is still open. Can they get Empress\Emperor?
