Wrestling is an extremely tough gig with virtually no upside so most promotions will take literally anyone who is willing to show up and put their life on the line for next to no money. A lot of the smaller promotions are just fronts for wrestling schools - meaning the shows are basically akin to dance recitials - where the audience is mainly friends/family of the people on the stage.

It's also pretty easy to get hired on for something - even in the WWE - if someone on the inside likes you. Notoriously bad hires were Patrice O'Neal (a comic) for writing, Jim Roberts (the literal child from the Jim and Sam radio show) for production/hosting and Dan Rykert (formerly and currently at Giantbomb) for their podcast network - although the actual list is massive. It would not shock me someone in AEW/WWE/whatever was a fan of Sterling's and opens a door for him eventually.

There likely isn't an actual woman who could beat up Sterling - he's simply to massive to really harm - on top of the fact that professional wrestling is largely a man's domain. Even the WWE constantly has problems and issues keeping enough women around to justify a women's division - with it largely existing in the WWE as a source of women for Vince to fuck. Smaller promotions have no chance of finding/training/keeping an actual woman with any real talent.

Jim Jim Troonstar spent the past 2 weeks REEEEing about Harry Potter.

I feel like its really reductive to dismiss Harry Potter as some cringe generic garbage. It did huge things for getting kids, especially young boys to read. I was listening to a podcast called the Witch Trials of Rowling and they go over her history and how the books were written and it was surprising to find out how little boomers read growing up. I grew up in an era where childhood literacy was never a problem likely due to Rowling's efforts.

I also saw a startling amount of similarities between the Christians calling it witchcraft and the trannies calling it fascist.

Yeah, it might have been trendy for a while, but that didn't make it bad or cringe, it was for kids, and kids are allowed to enjoy silly things without some creepy old man telling them it's evil.
