Watching Ralph’s shitshow recently the thought has crossed my mind, if he had access to a firearm would he use it? He looks like he’s cycling through dangerous violent/depressive states on camera with almost no inhibitions. He has a tiny sliver of self-control still somehow. BogHog self preservation kicks in at a certain point I guess. But he’s starting to slip more on camera and admit there’s nothing left to save.

I have no doubt that, if Ralph had access to a firearm, he would be waving it around and firing warning shots. He might even fire it in anger at a human target.

The younger a child is put in these traumatic situations, the worse the outcome for them. It’s not about what your conscious brain can remember. The human brain and body react forcefully to these events, with studies showing that the raised cortisol etc. levels of the immediate trauma remain high for months and years later.

They also still live in the US and Phil streams on a consistent schedule. Compared to the absolute black hole of expectations the Ralphs are Phil and Kat are chads. It's an extremely low bar but still.
