GUTTER TWIN PRESENTS: SPERGING ABOUT DISNEY FOOD VIDEOS
I made
a post in the Consumer thread about TikTok/YouTube "What I ate in a day at ________" videos. I included some Disney related ones in there.
I decided to dig a little deeper into the Disney side of the phenomena. Turns out there are TONS of these videos. Some are long-form vids by YouTubers, but the vast majority are from TikTok. I will discuss the two halves here. Now you might be asking, "Hey, Gutter, where is the funny/milk in this?" Well, I think the real horror comes from the fact that there are
so many of these videos. Really teaching the populace to go out and spend their earnings on useless garbage. You'll see what I mean.
PART 1: LONG-FORM YOUTUBE VIDEOS
There isn't a whole lot to delve into here other than the fact that these are vlogger style videos that sometimes give tips on the best deals and foods to get. Most of these people are not Disney Adults (at least that I could find).
One of the first videos I stumbled across was this one by YouTuber
feed meimei:
Title is self-explanatory. She has a few other videos on Disney food, but her content is dedicated to food stuff in general. Honestly... I kind of like her. Yes, she is a consuuuuuuumer, but she and her boyfriend have decent enough personalities and the editing isn't bad.
I should also mention the video has 1.4 million views.
This is another food YouTuber. The video is a merciful (by vlogger standards) 10 minutes. He's clearly not a Disney Adult and is an actual cook (if a bit of a trend-follower), so his commentary is refreshingly honest.
Also, he gets weirded out by the Disney attendees at points (specifically at 6:30-6:36) which made me kek.
>mfw babe shows me her Mickey Mouse ear collection
There's other videos like these, but, as I said, they aren't Disney Adults, so there is not as much milk to be had from them.
PART 2: TIKTOK
Abandon hope all ye who enter here.
Here's where it gets more interesting.
I don't have TikTok, so I find these videos as reuploads on YouTube. After looking through individual videos, I finally came across some compilations.
More than 20 minutes of Zoomer/Millenial chicks and the occasional male autist logging their food consumption. How riveting.
I was worried I'd hit a dead end until I saw this video:
Part 16?? How many more parts could there be-
25 VIDEOS. BETWEEN 8-15 MINUTES EACH. JFC
I guess my main question when looking at these vids is why? Why do people make these? Why do people watch them? Is your life really so vapid that you have to get your dopamine hit by telling the Internet that the Disney corndog was a little dry? I find it obsessive and pathetic.
All right, give me your hats and puzzle pieces now.
Also, feel free to put any of these vids in the OP if you want.
