Silver bounced back and gave a fuck you to the harassment she's been receiving and despite this, still "denounces" biological reality existing by taking a pot shot at JK. So, she's still trying to appease people who actually hate her. I'm kind of torn on this. On the one hand, I agree with telling the troons to jog on, but on the other hand, she's still trying to cultivate that SAME hateful audience that started this shit in the first place. The attacks are going to get even worse now. I hope she realizes this.

So that's what happened to her. I was wondering what happened after she disappeared off the face of the earth. Last time I saw anyone in this thread mentioning her, it was to talk about her absence in relation to her friends Whiskey Project and the other girl.

Lately I've been thinking about why she stands out so much. Most female vtubers rely on situational humor; they possess an ability to place themselves in scenarios where they can use their personality to generate unique comedic reactions. Surprisingly, Lumi takes a more classically masculine approach to humor by first creating a setup via a brief aside or opinion, and then expanding upon it to produce a comedic scenario that she can use as a skeleton for more jokes or funny observations. It would be an oversimplification to call one method "passive" and the other "active," and I hesitate to pass a general value judgment on either, but hot damn if she isn't the best at using the latter approach that I've seen among her peers. Actually, the streamer that she most reminds me of is fucking BroTeam.

I don't think it's to placate the mob, I think she genuinely still believes most trannies are good people and this is just a fringe minority of "Twitter freaks" attacking her. She hasn't had her optimism broken yet. How precious.

Insert the pol meme here about how women and betas cannot form their own opinions because they cannot defend or support themselves. Silver's community, family, company, and friends all say JK is evil and trans women are women, therefore no other possibility can exist.

I'd love for her to go on a Joker arc and start meming on ugly trannies but she's a peacekeeper and a negotiator, not a mover or shaker.

It doesn't. Fan works in Japan exist because corporations deliberately look the other way, but they can nuke them pretty much whenever they feel like it as proven in the incident leading up to the release of one of the Evangelion movies. They backtracked their "no lewds of Rei/Asuka stance allowed anymore" stance after the massive backlash, but not before lots of fan works vanished into the aether, never to be seen again unless they just happened to be backed up on an American booru somewhere, which really just means unless it was on Sankaku because that's the only booru that has works that old and who have been that willing to ignore takedown requests.
