Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

@Rou I dunno, that might guilt a few people into buying tickets.

Won't' save the movie, and won't' make it a hit, but, it may make back a few more bucks than had it not been hyped as such.

Maybe, if you make sure you don't alienate the core too much. Still, SJWs are becoming tired and cliche (I'm sorta expecting SJW to be have the same connotations as "hippie") and their numbers are dwindling along with their influence. It'd be a huge risk to try to court them. Too much IIRC. I'd rather go with trying to appeal to literal children. They'll drag out their parents to buy that sweet toy or that new movie.

Piers Morgan notes muhammad ali's racist tendencies before his death for attention.
Being twitter everybody falls for it and starts shitting their pants and giving him attention.

The crowd that goes on and on and on forever about how it's our duty to understand and accept others, won't understand or accept the socio-normative, as apparently, it's IMPOSSIBLE to relate to characters that aren't you, parroting your beliefs.

It's the new narcissism. When even your communications and entertainment is now micro-targeting your interests 24/7, things that aren't for you eventually start to become more alien. To the point where they regress back to mental 7-year olds. There's a word for this in psychology, I forget what it's called. But it basically describes the state of projecting your own mind onto everyone else, living under the assumption that other people are just a hivemind extension of your own thoughts.

Most toddlers and young kids do this, if they see an adult hiding something, then they'll assume everyone else shares their secret knowledge. They assume everyone feels what they feel, and get confused and upset when adults don't want to watch their favorite cartoon. Eventually they grow up and learn that other people have different perspectives.

Anyway the internet promises to connect one to a global audience, but most use it to interact with people who are less diverse than people they would meet on the street. It presents you with different views only when they reinforce your own biases, creating a generation of people living in glass boxes.

And like sjw, assume that anyone who doesn't immediately give them what they want is a purely evil villain only interested in being mean to them for it's own sake.

Like I said in another thread, these people are basically small children. So engaging with them like they are rational adults is pointless. You don't debate with your child when she wants chocolate cake for breakfast or decides she doesn't have to go to kindergarten. You tell her no and if she still tries it anyway you put her in the corner or take away her toys. This is how sjw should be handled.

Theory of mind, perhaps? (Interestingly, people with autism often have problems with this too.)

It's a natural consequence of surrounding yourself with only people that agree with you. When you live in a bubble of self-affirmation, your view of reality starts to get warped to the point where you believe the lens of SocJuc, MRA, of whatever your ideological poison is, is the way the world actually is.

Of course, if the majority of your socialization comes in online form, I'd wager you already have a few strikes against you in the social skills department. And yes, I'm aware of the irony.

Close, theory of mind refers to the ability to accurately recognize the mental states of others. Having theory of mind impairment ("mind-blindness") is a deficit found in those on the autism spectrum, along with schizophrenics, pathological narcissists, sociopaths, and young children.

Worth noting that although a lot of reports focus on the crossdressing, they also snuck in the ability to create transgender characters in varying states of transition. I don't have a problem with this addition on principle (you can never have too much customization, after all), but I wish they would focus more on re-adding all the useful stuff they already had in the previous games.

Do they still allow you to drown people in their pools? Cuz if they take that out, fuck 'em.

Typical White Male Police Brutality

I vaguely recall hearing they removed pools entirely specifically for that reason.

It's a shame, really. It'd be the closest most SJWs, real or virtual, ever get to a bath.

Fuck it then, I'll stick with the original. (I haven't bothered to get the later ones. In fact, I haven't played it in years.)

That's a really stupid reason. I liked creating graveyards and haunted houses back in the day.

Pools were added back in during a later patch, for free. Still, the 4th version doesn't offer as much in the way of virtual godhood as the others. There's only so much you can do with expanded customization before you want to see what the results can do.

God, I miss the open world of 3.

If that was the case, authors would be out of a job considering that their job is to create characters who are not them and are in fact radically different from them.

To be fair, this forum is pretty sane, if only because no one wants to be sucked into the abyss that is staring right back.

It's fucking weird how sjws seem to think vidya and gamers are literally worse than real life sex slavers and rapists. Where's the articles condemning Saudi Arabia for their treatment of women?

Now why would blogs and websites go after real issues when they can grab fruit that's so low hanging it almost touches dirt. No prophet can be made from tackling issues like equal rights in the Middle East when you can just slap a slide show of cutscenes together and throw out a buzzword every minute or so. SJW
speak about rape culture yet what they don't mention is in Africa and the Middle East corrective rape happens and is widely accepted. People in Iran face the death penalty or a forced sex change because of their sexual orientation.
3rd wave feminism speaks like the first world is the worst thing imaginable yet there is no right that men have that women don't.

I would like to see a blog or article that encourage women to seek more labour intensive work such as the construction industry instead of just STEM. Heavy industry pays a good salary and is pretty satisfying work from what people have told me who work in it.
