Only time will tell as to whether or not FFG does now have BBJ. Will we hear cat meows in the background of an FFG live? Will FFG refuse to ever acknowledge the question and be purposefully obtuse? Will FFG smugly reveal she has BBJ?

How very confident a tweet from someone who doubts everything Chalal says and does. FFG threatened to ring round every shelter in the area the day BBJ vanished and yet a sudden change of tune. Tweeted Feb 22nd 12:35 UK time. The tweet went up prior to Chalal posting the rehoming video. FFG was obtuse with her absence. She has been sick recently so could have used that as an excuse. FFG does not shy away from sharing life details to a point.

Chalal probably doesn't remember FFG streamed from a brown couch. It could be the same couch. We haven't seen the inside of FFG's place for a long time. The couch looks to be the wrong colour brown in the still below, it's not as dark/rich as the photo but we're comparing a web cam to a phone. Anyone with basic webcam knowledge will know that most of them cause colours to be washed out or altered, they usually have horrific compression. BBJ is laid in the middle of the couch but FFG always sat at the very edge so lighting will be different.

It would obviously be a much better story if FFG secretly obtained BBJ, but I think Chantal gave her knowingly. Looking back, there are a number of tells. The day that Chantal said she decided against giving BBJ to a prospective new owner because she "found out she's a HEAVY smoker" wasn't an immediate tell. But FFG got angry as a result and posted proof of her DMs with Chantal on Twitter in response, saying she was no longer respecting the possible future NDA. FFG spoke as if she for sure she was the prospective new owner, but that didn't necessarily mean anything because a lot of people tend to think Chantal's actions are about them when they're not. Chantal was also hemming and hawing about giving this person BBJ down to the last minute, using "supposed to" and "if," etc. Chantal also said this person was very persistent, showed her her home, etc. That tracks with FFG.

IMO it's just the sort of crazy thing Chantal would do. It was likely an impulsive decision she made at the last minute - hence her keeping BBJ's vet appt., trying to fix BBJ's nails at the last minute, being worried about BBJ getting sent off without her vet check first. Chinny was hemming and hawing about giving BBJ to the new owner till the very end. Even her saying things like the new owner wanted to use their own vet, that she was a viewer and lived within driving distance but not close, are all congruent with her knowingly giving her to FFG.

I dunno. We'll see soon! TBH this would be pretty much the best decision for Chantal's reputation, and that's probably a good chunk of her reasoning.
