Honestly, if FFG doesn't have BBJ - on one hand I suppose I commend her for riling people up for her livestream but on the other hand I find it pretty scummy to use what has been a very hot topic with vague insinuations and assumptions to gain that viewership. She's not a reactor I've liked at all and is genuinely someone who inserted themselves into this world.

For me, this will be a turning point in whether she was making true attempts to tard wrangle for the better good or is just another borderline cow herself, with a slightly better heart than DeeDee (though, DeeDee certainly took on the worst rehousing of them all).

If she does have BBJ, I will concede she acted in good faith - not just for this living being without a home but in the sense that regardless of who Chantal is, FFG has made a lot of money off of her and to be willing and desiring to take on Chantal's pet with absolute follow through .. I don't know, I find that to have a morality that Chantal the revert may not be able to comprehend. One could think FFG did it to spite Chantal but she can and does easily do that already from afar without investing her own personal free time and money and resources on an animal she has no real connection to. It's not really spiteful to end up having more work for yourself.

For the sake of BBJ, I would hope FFG has her. Outside of private ownership, the only people I've seen make housecalls to pick up a pet (without paying a lot of money) is animal control. Shelters and sanctuaries with individual surrenders usually require you to physically do it yourself at their location.

You can't just sue people because you're upset about something. Small claims courts can only order money, not 'you were mean so here's a punishment'
She would have to prove that she's lost out on the value of BBJ and the court could order that FFG pay that amount of money. They can't order return of the animal or anything. And, as FB has made it so clear, that cat is worthless.

In years of volunteering with shelter cats and foster cats, I can count on one hand the cats that were happily lounging around within hours of getting to their new homes. Most cats hide for at least the first day. I would have expected BBJ to be scrunched under the couch for some time rather than sitting on it, looking freshly brushed.

Poor things must have been ecstatic to be away from her and her stench.

If BBJ is with FFG I think Chantal knows. It's engineered drama, just like when she posed happily for a pic of FFG at the fashion show and then later got mad about it.

There is also an element of Chantal's emotional volatility, cluster beezing, and diabetes-fuelled psychosis where she's happy to spin fake drama for now, but when it sinks in she actually WILL feel like FFG tricked her.

In any case, she's going to have "gave away my cats" remorse eventually. This entire saga is remarkable. Nader shoved Sam off the bed with his foot and that made Chantal stroke out for days. One day she's going to actually realize where she is and what her life is like and think, I gave my cats away for this??

Anyway, if FFG does have BBJ I hope we get glimpses of her looking well brushed and majestic for many more months, if not years, and people keep reminding Chantal of how spry and healthy she looks, while her own skin starts to rupture right off her body.

The org I work with has volunteer drivers, and I suspect the old cat sanctuary would too. Somebody else pointed out that elderly animals are often surrendered by elderly people. A traditional shelter wouldn't have drivers though, and I'm struggling to believe it's a mobile vet. They do things like mass sterilizing feral cats or going through low income/high homeless areas to give services.

Also, a vet that could do mobile euthanasia could also do at-home euthanasia, which is a lot easier on the animal. So I think whoever picked BBJ up was either with an organization (that might still end in euthanasia) or the adopter.
