The Obama-era legislation wasn't to go into effect until sometime this year. It had to do with train breaks. This crash was caused by a faulty train wheel bearing.

It's just a deflection. Of course, it's repeated online so much, people just assume it's true not looking at the details. People want a simple answer as to how to blame Trump. How to give no responsibility to the Dems. They don't know or care if it is true.

The key thing is, even if that legislation was in effect and applied to this train. It would not have prevented this crash. If Trump didn't repeal it. Can you even repeal legislation that isn't put into effect? Is that the term? In any case, if Trump did nothing, the crash would have still happened.

It's a systemic failure of all administrations. Including the current one which just shut down rail workers unions want for matter conditions to help prevent this. Which is why they are desperate to blame Trump.

It annoys me that I get infuriated by it. People who are so sanctimonious about how Trump supporters constantly fall for fake news. Constantly do it themselves. Then relish in believing their Trump derangement. Yet there seems no main stream accountability for believing all the BS left narratives about Trump.

I think what annoys me so much is that I just see it further widening the divide. Making it harder to return to some common sense middle ground.
