Its kind of funny, because China has done fuck all at the moment but watch as the sanctions deliciously fucked Western Hegemony and it keeps pounding away at the cracks. The only thing its done is maybe promise Russia a hundred drones.

I think this is a problem for the West because it shits on the narrative that "RUSSIA IS RUNNING OUT TOO AND HAS A SPONSOR" when really the sponsors are just economic sanction dodges.

I can only guess the Chinese sanctions are to try and put pressure on a Russian ally to make Russia end, but uh, it is not going to have that effect. The Chinese will just tell you to fuck off and if there's a crash or something, they'll just shut down their stock market or shoot some bankers and then start it up again like they always do.

I don't know what else in Russia there's left to sanction, to be honest. The Western strategy is clearly not working and attrition is now in a complete reversal, because Ukraine will bleed support and manpower much faster than Russia will now.

Now compare it to Su-25 GSh-30-2 auto-cannon. A fairly lightweight and small system, firing a less potent round with a smaller ammo storage. The GSh-30-2, wasn't built around the Su-25, nor was it Su-25's main weapon. The Su-25's main weapons are rockets, guided and unguided along with bombs.

And while like I said. The GSh-30-2 fired less potent rounds in term of penetration. For softer targets GSh-30-2 will do the job just as well as GUA-8. Not to mention GSh-30-2 is more accurate.

There is also the fact when A-10 came into service. It was barebones. While the Su-25 had at least some Gucci shit like a proper nav and Klen-PS rangefinder and target designator.

Ultimately the A-10 would get Gucci shit in piecemeal upgrades, albeit rangefinder and target designator in form of targeting pod. While Su-25 stagnated post SU collapse. Not getting its planned follow-up models like the Su-25T and TM for various reasons. Nor a very deep modernization of the fleet. Until the current Su-25SM3 standard.


Both though modernized especially with DIRCM systems would still be relevant enough today. Though with modern UAV's around it's a question if you really need a manned plane for CAS in contested and AA-saturated space.

A-10 is like Honda Civic. It was designed around the time US & NATO were terrified of Soviets having twice as many tanks as them.

The USAF jocks hate it because it's not smooth or elegant or black like the Batmobile.

(I remember that Operation Flashpoint: CWC mission where you assault Kolgujev with a crew of 3 A-10s and they last maybe 10 seconds tops against shilkas lol)

This Ukrainian teaching his kid that this other kid trying to have a some semblance of a childhood is a "motherfucker" who needs to be killed because his fucking Jew president won't negotiate with Russia and has brainwashed his population makes my blood boil.

I don't hate the Ukrainians but the more I see of this shit the more I'm thinking maybe I should. I was genuinely neutral at the start of this, if people wanna check my earlier posts they'll see that, but a combination of seeing Ukrainians commit warcrimes against Russian prisoners (specifically when Ukrainian soldiers were shooting the kneecaps of Russian POW's on video, laughing about it) and being attacked by pro-Ukrainians for asking questions and simply trying to be impartial has swayed me in favour of Russia.
