This is nuts he's walking into some kind of L willingly over and over. Obviously a monty victory is unlikely but embarassing communications becoming public or the damage that more fuckups could do to his reputation as a lawyer(to the simps anyone serious seems to know he a joke).
Monty most likely won't win the case, but if it goes to trial that's a huge loss for Nick. The only winner will be the Farms.

I hope if this goes to trial, all of lawtube covers it. Emily will pull in half a million viewers, Joe a tenth of that, Kurt even less, and Sean will bounce around and laugh (on stream and on the farms). Watching Nick have to sit in court and mind his tongue would be worth the price alone.

Of course, something like this should take a day in trial and wouldn't, under normal circumstances, be televised. Would the courtrooms in BFE, MN, even have cameras hooked up to the net? I can't imagine courttv or law and crime would want to cover this (unless the latter would out of spite).

Nose has NOT done a show since Monday and no streaming of any kind since Tuesday.

How can this possibly be affecting his followers that are not in Vegas? It looks like Nick just fucked off and expects them to come right back whenever he saunters back (or staggers).

So, I've been tracking the numbers in his Locals 3-4x/day and they've def plummeted. Two reasons for that (that you've previously noted @Himedall All-seeing Waifu :
  1. Kiwi has done some low-level doxxing largely from the information these dummies put out there about THEMSELVES; many have gone to other more private platforms.
  2. Nick's not been streaming much.

    I'd add a 3rd reason...

  3. Nick's just been a little bitch. The negativity is peak. This Monty stuff is just 'ick' /stupid for lots of people. And, yes, the midlife crisis stuff - while initially funny - now just seems pathetic. Even on his last YT/Rumble stream, he was screaming at his chats for wanting him to play the video of James O'Keefe reading his own statement instead of Nick himself reading it.
Anyway, Locals #s in chat have barely broken 50 people for days. In early morning hours, they've been as low as 10 people. Xino is almost single-handedly trying to keep the place alive but even she seems bored af. I almost feel sorry for her. (Elissa spiced things up last night for a couple of hours - it was v entertaining.)

Fwiw, the numbers did spike to over 300 when he streamed from Vegas and then plummeted as soon as it was over.

But, yes, over time if this continues, it seems likely many Locals subs will let their subscriptions run out.

How is this affecting his contractual obligations to Rumble and LOCALS? Yes, he has the nice guaranteed revenue now, but I do not see how he is possibly paying back their investment. Rumble rants are almost laughably low and nowhere near what he was clearing in SC's before (1.2-2k USD per night). Even now look at his stats that Potatoherder posts and they are in dozens of dollars compared to YT's hundreds.

This is not sustainable--despite what uber-advice Nose might think he is giving them on improving the platform. I do not see any upside to Rumble or LOCALS as this point. Nick seems to have fucked off from them too.

This assumes Rumble/Locals is even paying attention... From what I understand they operate like a startup. Their strategy is probably simply to bring bigger creators over from YT. (Have they brought any creators over from Twitch? I've not been tracking that.)

I highly doubt - for now - that his contract is in jeopardy even if he doesn't do the shows required in the contract.

Edit: Typos

Nick probably can't because of perception and his audience. Plus he really seems to believe that the case is great streaming content for him. From the way he talks about, he also really seems emotionally invested in the case in the way that often leads people to irrationally waste tremendous amounts of money on legal expenses.
But as it plays out and Nick sees the reality of the bills for the case stack up, he might change his mind.

On the other side, its going to come down to how Monty is funding the case. If its contingency funded, the attorney will have a large say in a settlement. But Monty is not really a rational guy and his attorney trying to get him to agree to a settlement could be extremely difficult even if it is in Monty's best interests.
Even if contingency, the decision to settle is solely Monty's.

Before it gets to trial, there is a possibility that Monty tries to depose Kurt, Sean, Megan Fox, and other guests that have been referenced through the filings.

Those will hopefully be a source for lolz as well.

I never knew that a requirement of free speech was you have to forget it as soon as you hear it and let the memory hole do it’s work.

Biggest lol of the day for me. Nick is hurt because people like James O’Keefe?! Or is he actually butthurt that someone suggested he have a clip ready for something he was planning on talking about?

Volunteer jannies get paid even less. The clout is only visible to themselves.

I think Nick's rant about body language experts and the O'Keefe rant are just his narcissism showing. All Nick has to do is play clips and have guests talk that his guests want to see, but his ego won't let him do it.

It seems really.. impractical, for a guy who abandoned a law practice in favor of easier money to get so hung up on demanding of fate that it also existentially validate him with the added condition of it requiring no effort.

Edit:
There has to be some kind of mental leap like, “if I can wing it and succeed with nothing but bullshit and charisma, that’ll prove that hedonism is objectively correct.”

Not that I’m calling Nick practical.

No one will cover it. Grifters of a feather stick together. Just look how certain lawtubers and Megan Fox are drunk guarding the plagarist Faran unBalanced.

It was ridiculous. Like, hey, Nick, fun fact: YT and Rumble are VISUAL PLATFORMS. Ofc the audience wanted to see O'Keefe read his own statement on video. But, nope, you yelled at your audience, dug in, and read the statement yourself... and it was very dull content btw.

Oh, I forgot about the body language rant! I mean, Nick's rants are generally very entertaining...

But - JESUS. Nick, THIS is what's bothering you? DUI Guy and James-From-Court reading the jury?

Hey, Nick, remember when you use to rant about important/relevant things? SUGGESTIONS: How slooooooow the South Carolina proceedings have been. Other ideas: Small-town corruption, how half the witnesses can barely recall their own prior statements, how the cops totally f*cked up the murder scene? Like, y'know lawyer shit.

But, no, Nick. You just threw other content creators under the bus for funsies bc THAT'S what's bothering you? Meanwhile, no one - literally no one - cared. Even Branca was bored and left as soon as he could. Joe and Kurt outright laughed at you.

I'd bet that is because Locals is probably automatically including anyone watching a Locals stream as being in the chat.
You might be right. The numbers for his Vegas stream spiked to 500 briefly and that's wildly rare. Something seemed off. It might be because he didn't go to 'subscribers only' - I'd have to go back and check.

Edit: Typo

Does anyone have a timestamp or clip for the O'Keefe rant? I haven't seen it posted here.

The big problem for the Locals chat is that it's been taken over by two dozen people who appear on the outside to be out of their mind. Anyone who seeks to join the chat at this point will be confronted immediately with their inanities and insanities.

#ForTheFans seems to have been lost somewhere. I never understood creators that told their watchers 'You'll watch what I put out, and LIKE it!'.

As someone pointed out a dozen or so pages back, AZ from HeelvsBabyface talked at length about this and respecting your audience as a creator on one of his painting streams with Rekeita and Sargon.

TL;DR: Az got bored of his content, switched to something totally different, passed off his fans, blew them off, lost a whole bunch, then he wised up and worked out an adult compromise between what he and his fans wanted.

I understand 'Don't watch it if you don't like it!', but we are treading closer to 'Eat shit and like it! Why don't you like this shit!? I like it!'

Right, and some of the ringleaders have tits, some compile albums of said tits for him, and some janny for free, so Rekieta allowed it.

This is his ideal government, the Nosetatorial Titocacy.

He thinks he's being le epic drunken lawyer man when he goes off on these ridiculous tirades but he mostly comes off as an embarrassing whiny faggot who needs to pull the balldo out of his mangina.

EDIT: Just noticed (due to the chat logger still going) Nose has NOT done a show since Monday and no streaming of any kind since Tuesday.

Awaiting his next account of how he visited a gay bar and somehow managed to get 'roofied' again, and now three days of his life are missing and all he has to show for it is a very sore arse.

This is so mindboggling to me (given how dramatically different it is to the UK) that I had to Google it. This was the first case I turned up. Coincidentally, it's also a Minnesota case.

It seems to make the opposite claim to the one that you're making here. Am I misunderstanding something?

Briefly: Pat has an 18 year old girlfriend. Defendant calls him Pat The Paedophile online. Pat loses his job as a cop so sues defendent for calling him Pat the Paedo. Court enters judgement as a matter of law because calling someone a paedo is defamatory per se. and jury awards general damages and special damages. Special damages is overturned on appeal, the rest stands.

This bit in particular stood out to me:

"With this rule in mind, we hold that in almost every circumstance a reasonable listener would believe that calling a person a pedophile imputes serious sexual misconduct or criminal activity to that person. It is, therefore, defamatory per se."

Here: http://injurylawstpaul.com/messages/154.htm
A better, fuller discussion of the case here: https://casetext.com/case/longbehn-v-schoenrock-1
News coverage: https://www.pinejournal.com/news/former-moose-lake-police-officer-wins-retrial-in-defamation-lawsuit

I'd definitely be settling if it was me.
stop bringing up your retarded UK laws in here, the UK will arrest people for calling other pedos but let actual paki child fuckers run free. Fuck off.
