Dumb Shit on Wikipedia

They always insert these things in there as if they matter but never actually explain to us why they should matter. Who fucking cares whether or not a tranny is following this war?
I thought the party line was that trans women are exactly like real women in every single way so why would it matter that trans woman did something?

This is a minor quibble, but I fucking hate this one hohol editor on Wikimedia so fucking much. Sanya3 is this moron who keeps attaching onto categories an "of Ukraine" subcategory that does absolutely nothing but clutter up categories. I'm trying to find some heraldry examples on Wikimedia (because it's usually a good source of SVG files) and I keep stumbling across an extra category like "Firearms in heraldry of Ukraine" or "Aircraft in heraldry of Ukraine" that does nothing but split off the Ukie heraldry from the rest. They're literally pointless, and do nothing except make it harder to browse the files.

This hohol has dedicated a decade to shitting up Wikimedia too, and he has 300K "contributions" on Wikimedia. 300K! I simply cannot fathom how someone can be this much of a moron.

Ukrainians and and Western keyboard warriors who want to own Putin via the internet have spent a lot of time looking for ways to insert Ukraine into as many parts of Wikipedia as they can think of. Any time I see Ukraine or a Ukrainian mentioned now I assume the detail was added by some guy in Odessa with a swastika tattooed on his forehead.

The other day they featured some 18th century Russian guy from Ukraine which used all the usual hohol Newspeak like "Kyiv" and "Kharkiv." There's a stunning amount of articles on figures from that era of Ukraine which I can only suspect is to push a modern Ukrainian nationalist POV on English speakers. Articles often cite the Encyclopedia of Ukraine, which based on the glowing reviews on English Wikipedia, is a hybrid of a late 80s Soviet source and a translation prepared by Canadians (i.e. Ukrainian nationalists) with their own additions.

At the very least, OUN crimes are still vividly described but that's because trying to minimize them would get all the Polish nationalists and of course the Jews angry.

Checking the front page regularly, wiki appears to have a boner for dead local politicians from Indonesia. Meaning: one person is on a mission to make his local politcians live in everyone's head. This guy for instance was in charge of embezzling public funds for a bunch of villages totalling 135k souls- in a nation of 274 million. This guy was in charge of not marrying a second wife, and somehow got elected for MP by 22K votes in an electoral district which includes the city of Medan and its outskirts (pop. 3.4 million). Maybe that feat alone makes him meet notability standards. Anyway, one humble zoo pornographer nominates the articles for front page, the articles meet formal requirements, and irrelevant people's deaths are front page news.

So the article for Mayhem's infamous bootleg album The Dawn of the Black Hearts just recently had its cover art reinstated (there was controversy over it due to the fact that it shows a real image of the dead body of the vocalist after he committed suicide)

but i shit you not: for more than a year the image was deleted and these fags fought tooth and nail to get the image off the site and even lied about copyright reasons to keep the image off of the article. Keep in mind these retards did this for a album cover that was displayed publicly on Wikipedia since about 2006...

they just in 2021 of all times decided to claim it's in violation of "copyright" or something (completely ignoring the fact that the image is being used in fair use like every other album cover on the site). there was even this retarded as fuck "FAQ" placed on the talk page (second image shown below)

All of this stuff has since been reversed and the album cover is back as of now. but this is a prime example of wikipedos abusing their power and lying about how credentials work to get their way, just take a look at the talk page for yourself if you dont believe me. they had their way for a whole year and a half and got away with it for that time frame. and to think that wikipedia actually has the nerve to claim that it's "not censored" lolol.

All you have to do is look at totally untouched page for Impaled Nazarene's Ugra-Karma, which is famous for the lawsuit it triggered, to know that they're liars who don't give a fuck about copyvio cover art. I guarantee you that some of these fags are collaborating on a suicide hotline virtue signal box in a secret Discord server this very moment.

Tell me more. I can't find shit on this lawsuit,
In Bardo Methodology #2, Mika told the story of their 1993 album “Ugra Karma” – which used artwork motifs lifted off some book he procured from a roaming Hare Krishna. Alas, they were dobbed in by a French former black metal fan who’d gone on to find enlightenment through the group. The American leg of the organisation descended upon Osmose with all of their Krishna Consciousness and slapped upon them a 100,000-dollar lawsuit. After retaining legal counsel, Hervé was able to get it down to 10,000.

– Yes, it’s true – this story landed us in a very bad situation. We lost the court trial against the New York Hare Krishna, they were considered legitimate in the US so the trial went in their favour and we lost a tonne of money; all over a painting we later discovered they themselves had been using entirely without the consent of the original artist from India!
Love the album, holy mother Durgasoft is it relentless

For a change, this isn't a dumb shit on Wikipedia post, but an actual "Wikipedia finally did the right thing" post. It's absolutely ludicrous that one of the most vital details of this album is actually back on the page (because I generally expect complete drooling idiocy from WP at this point). Where it belongs. Where it should never have been removed, because that shit was retarded.

Yes, it's a disturbing image. Yes, it's fucked up. Yes, the fact that fucking faggot Euronymous had the immediate response on finding his dead friend with his brains blown to take a picture, like a goddamn faggot, is part of why he really got what he had coming when Varg finished him.

But it's seriously the most important thing about that bootleg and the image really displays the degeneracy and insanity of the whole black metal scene of the time.

Somehow, they've always been totally okay with the cover for the Scorpions' Virgin Killer.

Can't imagine why that's never been controversial.

I don't know what you mean by not controversial. Maybe not among Wikipedia rulemakers, but almost all the talk page archives are about this issue.
Good point but they never even remotely considered actually just removing it. Nobody with any power on WP ever did anything but obstinately keep it up.
It has been, the entire Wikiepdia website was considered child porn at some point because of that album cover. Read the second paragraph on the article lol
I should correct that it has definitely been controversial. Among normies. Among Wikipedos, though, the ones who actually make the decisions there, it has never been. Even if it meant the site getting blocked by multiple countries. That was a hill they were willing to die on.

Rules of metal albums:
- you can show a naked prepubescent girl on a album cover,
- you most definitely can NOT show a guy after his suicide.

I'd agree but the thing is this: it was an entirely different group of editors who seemed to have restored the image (which was only made possible when the opposing legion of triggered fucking idiots crying "copyright!!!!" stopped replying on the talk page for some reason). For almost 2 full years the cover art was missing, and it never should have been removed to begin with.
