A 5150 is a temporary involuntary hold. You can walk out after 72 hours unless you get committed, which is not within the direct scope of the 5150. The doctor's recommendation during that process may result in commitment, but simply getting held for 3 days doesn't automatically result in long-term lockdown.

Everyone just needs to stop caring and giving Bam his 4,082th chance. He's not interesting. His story isn't unique. Nobody needs to care about him. He's another narc that fried his brain with drugs in pedowood. There are no shortage of them. But, he's a drugged out has been with a kid. That can get vultures enough clicks for a few first class ticket upgrades a year and Bam will keep dancing for nickels because he has nothing else.

Not to mention he thinks he’s coming off like a model father for giving his baby momma $4K/month when that won’t even cover rent in California unless she’s living in the hood, a fall from grace is putting it lightly. He used to be estimated at a net worth around 40-50 million and now he’s covering rent for a duplex in Oakland. Sad!
