That… actually fits. Probably going to be a lot people like that gulf war vet from Kitchen Nightmares too. Something about inhaling burning oil fumes destroying your senses of smell and taste.

They really think they can "win" in this situation. Either you have to give us time to fix things and thus figure out just how badly you fucked everything up, or try and convince us that literally everything isn't on fire.

You can't fucking have both. We literally cannot fix problems that we think aren't problems FUCKING. PICK. ONE.
And no, your tried and true "delay until I die" strat doesn't work. You used that earlier, and you're in this situation SPECIFICALLY because of it. The buck stopped with you.

Doesn’t matter. The Depression was worse under FDR and prolonged by his policies, but to this day, public schools teach 1930s Democrat propaganda that Hoover was an ancap who foolishly believed that the economy would improve if he did nothing despite him intervening massively in the economy and pioneering many of programs and policies that FDR expanded on.

Yeah, everyone seems to forget that historians are bitter, leftist ideologues who will make up outright lies if that's what it takes to fit everything into their blue good/red bad narrative.

Historians made me give up on getting a history degree and instead just stay a hobbyist. They will deny and lie so much it is honestly annoying.

Not to power level but I saw it happen right in front of me when taking a elective about 20th century history. Teacher was talking about the rise of the 3rd Reich and doing a pretty ok job in the short time-frame he had, letting people comment and ask things. I mentioned how the KPD helped the nazis by giving them propaganda fodder with how many prominent jews it had and the shift in tone and body language from him was insane. He immediately fired back it was not true that the Weimar government was jewish controlled, which was not what I had said at all. I clarified I was talking about Rosa Luxembourg and the leaders of the 1918/9 civil war, who had many ethnic jews on the communist side which made for a resurgence of anti-semitism in Germany. He seemed to have no way to even process what I was saying and just sort shrugged and did a "oh well yeah there were many factors" and moved on.

If you ever wander why so many journalists, teachers and "academics" will openly lie and manufacture shit this is why. They are constantly operating in a "inevitable and unrelenting march of Progress" mentality and so they are trying to create the history they want to be true. The lies aren't just for you, they are meant to be printed on the history books and "correct the historical record" decades from now.

Sorry for the sperging. Anyway here is some more news about how there is no economic depression at all and in fact we are in the Strongest Economy Ever thank you Biden.

It's even worse now, because if you talk about things like how savage Indians actually were, you run the risk of getting cancelled. It's best to not even talk about the subject and instead focus on "whiteness" and "the patriarchy."
