Way back when, before Twitter started purging everyone; he was talking shit on anime nerds. After enough back and forth, he started getting photoshops of anime girls with him and he was telling these guys he's stealing their waifus. I knew him from that, and he was a lot funnier back then, and I don't think he was doing his Romanian War Room hustle shit then.
That's how I learned about him. Then a year or so later, he brought Jordan Peterson's daughter into his harem and all the skeevy shit started showing up. Not gonna say I lost respect for him or anything, because it was never there; but I enjoyed him more doing anime shit posts than this alpha nigger shit.

Someone, no matter who, with an equal and opposite opinion was going to appear. And a certain portion of the online population was going to reach for that safety valve.

Being a political prisoner or a martyr (or even having the appearance of one) can be sufficient to make it seem like he's some sort of counter-culture leader; at least for the smooth brains who think his brand of alpha niggotry is prescient.
