It's an Abrams. The cut-out over the drive sprocket has a rounded corner, the storage compartments on the side of the turret are the same as the abrams pic, you can see the side angle of the turret armour is a straight slope compared to the complex shape of the leo, and also has an upward curve on the bottom at the front, where the leo is parallel to the tank body. You can also see the large, round rear light shields.

Their positions alow them to engage anything moving down the last remaining roads into the city with artillery or ATGM's. the situation is beyond critical for the AFU and they realize this, a unnamed but premier cream of the crop assault brigade has also reportedly been sent to front, these units are the best of the best for the AFU, they are lavishly equipped with modern western equipment and are trained out of country in Germany or Britain.

The commitment of this unit to me reeks of political decision making. these brigades were to be used in a set piece operational offensive but are instead being sent to die in the cauldron of Bahkmut. even the biggest NAFO cannot deny the near apocalyptic attrition rate for the AFU inside the area. The average death rate is around 100+ but on bad days like today it can reach over 400+ this is not a condition to send your best units into.

Previous units that were sent where either separate rifle battalions in other words useless. National guard units, as in those who need to die before the war ends. or what was nearly a random assortment of Special forces, Police units, border guards, made up paper units and the poor fucking territorial brigades.
