Meanwhile, on the other side of the mountain, a few developments have taken place regarding our black Ranchers.
Courtney has been arrested for stalking and petty theft, and Nicole with Felony menacing and Fraud.
All of their complaints seem to be part of an ongoing war with a neighbour, over what it is not clear, but these are apparently extremely volatile and paranoid people.

The Ranching-While-Black Case Goes Viral
The Mallery family claims that white neighbors are making life hell at the Freedom Acres ranch, and that police are part of the problem.slate.com
Wow, man.
This is some really unbelievable shit. Do these people have a thread?
That Denver Post article is pretty even-handed, it sounds like the Mallerys are paranoid cranks who see racism and KKK hoods everywhere. What is really wild is the general black activist response. Like these are clearly not your guys if you want some victims to champion. They are egregious liars and there are receipts for their lies:
In one event, in April 2021, Nicole Mallery allegedly kicked a sheriff’s deputy repeatedly in his legs and bit him on his forearm, according to a summary of the encounter. She was charged with second-degree assault of a peace officer and received a two-year deferred sentence, court records show.
In body-camera video, Nicole Mallery can be heard calling one of the Black sheriff’s deputies a “field negro” and other personnel “white trash” and Klu Klux Klan members.
Nicole Mallery was taken to the hospital, where she told doctors that the cops “broke her shoulder and choked her out until she was unconscious.” The footage of the arrest that was released did not appear to show these events, nor are they detailed anywhere else in the police reports.
At Friday’s rally, Nicole Mallery told The Post that she hadn’t seen the video. Glover, her husband’s attorney, said law enforcement typically only puts out a curated selection of evidence to support their position.
But in current year, it appears to literally not matter. You can just threaten to kill a father and son checking out a cool snake on the public roadway adjacent to your property for "trespassing on your property" and the NAACP will hold a grift rally for your trauma.
I checked out the transcript of that Slate podcast. (Archive.)
It is insanity. I don't even know what to quote. It's just lies, lies, lies, lies. If you only listened to this podcast and didn't read anything else, you would come away believing that the Klan is out to drive the Mallerys off their land.
Small example, they play a clip where the husband of the crazy black paranoiacs claims that one of his animals was poisoned. (This transcript is by AI, so I don't know how accurate it is.)
Jason Johnson: We must say local authorities are telling a different story. They’re alleging that the Mallery are harassing and stalking their neighbors. How are the police claiming that this couple is somehow waging a harassment campaign against their neighbors?
Ezekiel Walker: That’s the crazy part because both of them are allegedly slinging somewhat of the same allegations towards each other about stalking and about harassment and about, you know, maybe you shouldn’t be on my property this time or you are on my property, you know. They’ve taken cameras on each other’s property to film each other. So there’s been a lot of ugliness to this whole thing for the last two years because 470 calls have been made to the same sheriff’s department. Obviously, a lot’s been done in two years. And on February 7th, Courtney was arrested on felony stalking, petty theft and tampering with a utility meter. Now, I say that to say, you know, he was arrested for that. And sure, there’s going to be a case filed later for that actual dispute.
Ezekiel Walker: But a large part of what’s happening for him and for Nicole is that they’re not being responded to in the same amount of urgency. And we know this within you don’t have to be in a rural area. You can be in the inner city or anywhere to know. Police typically respond slower to black calls, unfortunately. But for them, they’re trying to get, you know, necessarily a restraining order. They had a temporary protection order in December 2021 alleging that Theresa Clark was just, you know, the light. The white neighbor was chasing her in a vehicle, stalking and pointing guns. But nothing was done to her. You know, she wasn’t brought in for questioning. So a lot of what we’re seeing is that kind of like one sidedness to the police and what they’re doing to the Mallery in this particular case.
The way this is phrased, man. Any claim against the Mallerys is an allegation, any claim by the Mallerys is a fact.
The way this Walker guy talks is also wild, it's like how people talk when they're lying and spinning their wheels until they come up with an angle.
Anyway, this is bad news for America not collapsing into a nightmare, but great news for those of us jonesing for a new ranch drama to follow if the Tranch dries up.
