Never gonna happen. For all the liberal talk of about those "useless" red states. They need us more than we need them. They would never let us leave willingly.
We're where what remains of the economy is actually housed. We have the mills, production plants, etc. We're where all the net tax payers live. If they got rid of us, we'd actually become far more prosperous almost overnight. Not to mention, this "national divorce" bullshit would likely mean most of the military actually comes over here to us. It'd be a reverse of 1861.

Listen sunshine, everyone here has played COD2, now that vidyagame wouldn't lie would it?
That mission in COD2 is based off the movie known as "Enemy at the Gates".

Which in return came from books by butthurt German generals mad at losing to Soviets, and told Allies a lot of doodoo over how Germany got rekt in the Eastern Front.
Speaking from peak autism, the "you only get ammo and not a rifle" mission is in COD1, not COD2.

I'm 90% sure this is a glowop
That's what I thought initially. But then taking a years worth of artillery fire gives a little authenticity. I would like to know the exact details of his engagements and escape the vague details there left me a bit so-so on his glowie status.
Yes they can just check the other thread.
No, don't do it! Situational reality doesn't exist there, Zelensky told them they're winning.

American mercenary John McIntyre defects to Russia and shed some light on Ukrainian human shield tactics, war crimes, and CIA involvement.

This guy kinda gives me the heebie jeebies. Just feels like he's playing both sides or something.

All would lose to Lend Lease funded with printable Fiat Notes that the slavish population will actually work triple shifts for and think is valuable for their labor. A hoodwinked generation being worked half to death to provide half the supplies other nations were using to grind down the German war machine. Unfortunately for America and Ukraine this time, the Rothschild ponzi dollar is now completely debased, and NO ONE is working triple shifts for the Bankerberg state.
CoD was always about spouting the ‘approved’ version of geopolitics and not a balanced view of foreign governments.
Remember when they had Russia, who had just finished a massive civil war, invade both America AND all of Europe at the same time?

the CIA parachuted management straight into activision blizzard to manage COD narratives:

Prior to joining Activision Blizzard, Brian served in government as the Under Secretary of State for Management and prior to that as the Chief Operating Officer at the Central Intelligence Agency. Before joining the CIA, Brian worked in the Private Equity industry, both as a founding partner and senior advisor, and focused on middle market growth buyouts. Early in his career, he served as an airborne infantry officer leading units on several contingency operations across the globe.

Am I retarded for thinking Russia shouldn't encircle Bakhmut anytime soon? Ukraine seems willing to send everything they got at it, even as the pincer closes, wouldn't it be better to keep, as Prigozhin put it, the "Main event" of the war going to drain the Ukrainians? A year or more of this and you could realistically have the Russian Army just waltz into the rest of Ukraine unopposed. (Or as Prigozhin puts it, "Walk over to the territory in flip flops").

Never interrupt your opponent when he is making a mistake.

I can kind of see the logic in that, but at the same time, as long as Ukraine is being run by a coke addict, you're going to have more units getting really dumb no retreat orders. You have to remember, Bakhmut is the third time a large number of Ukrainian soldiers got encircled and wiped out because of a no retreat order.

No, because if in such a scenario Ukraine wises up and decides to pull out, that's a huge wasted opportunity for Russia to drain the Ukrainians of vital manpower and equipment. Military decision making should never operate under the assumption of an incompetent adversary, no matter how much evidence points towards that being the case.

That aside, this encirclement is a huge PR win/morale boost for Russia. It calls to mind the 2015 Debaltseve cauldron, perhaps the most one-sided and successful Russian operation of the entire conflict. A successful encirclement will also inevitably lead to large numbers of troops surrendering that might have otherwise escaped to fight another day. These POWs are a powerful bargaining tool in addition to being, once again, a fantastic PR boon.

That's what I was thinking what they are trying to do. Turn it into an impenetrable fortress and let the enemy walk into your "machine fun fire"(ass load of explosives realistically speaking). The Ukrainians are on that same type of Copium the French were on during WW1 with how high spirits and a chin held high wins wars.
