I'm actually going to break from most of you in this thread and say that Choob has been very successful as an actress so far. He's got a named character role in a TV series starring Noomi Rapace, concurrent with a production of his own play, which of course he starred in. Thousands of starlets would covet those first two credits.

This despite being 1) male, and 2) bad at acting.

I think he does have a very hard ceiling that ends somewhere below Lara Croft, and indeed somewhere below any role of any consequence, but for a minuscule investment of talent he's reaped quite the ego boost.

Its worth keeping in mind that the play is essentially his own big break, as its not like this was something where he caught the eye of some big time producer with a good script, he basically did it all himself, wrote it himself, cast it himself, produced the play himself, made himself the lead character, everything, to give himself the role he thinks he deserves (and even then he's been upstaged by other people in his play lol). Its got more in common with the Room than Reservoir Dogs with that in mind, I still have to wonder if he's actually made or will make an overall profit on the whole thing at the end of the day.

He puts in a tremendous amount of effort and has a tremendously large ego when you consider what his actual achievements are. He's almost 30, even for an actual woman this pretty much means there's never going to be a big star making break at that point, the best he has to point to is his youtube channel, his community theatre level play, and being a tertiary character in a sky exclusive TV show I'm pretty sure nobody in this thread would have ever heard of if not for its connection to him. For some actors that might be enough, but I highly doubt it is to Olly.

Everytime said interest seems to be fading a bit he returns to the well of being the most famous trans woman in England babes (I will never get over the shit that comes out of his mouth) and does things like his recent video on trans healthcare in the UK that led to his most fucking retarded takes yet, and its worked, it got a lot more views than his previous vids and reversed his decline in patreons when people were getting bored at his utterly pedestrian and shallow attempts to offer insight into the philosophy of art.

Outside of the internet he's leveraged it into things like articles and panel appearances, much more high profile than what he could get before hand, and managed to land some roles as the token troon, when previously I don't think he had any on-screen credits at all, and of course we have the play which is drenched in troon bullshit and he tried to turn it into a trans rallying play to get more interest, even going so far as to suggest that bad or lukewarm reviews or lack of interest from papers of record in his boring amateur hour production was because they were all just transphobes.

I do agree. When you lay out his CV it does sound impressive, and you cannot fault his work ethic - he is constantly grafting. It's just when you get into the minutae you realise he's doing comparatively poorly for someone with such a stacked decks. There's tonnes of jobbing actors who would kill for both his opportunities and his experience.

I think this is accurate. Considering his total lack of talent and the general stench of mediocrity that hangs about him, he's doing very well indeed, and that's solely due to: (1) his YouTube career, (2) being a troon, and (3) constantly shoving his foot in the door. Now, if on top of those advantages he was also attractive, a good actor and feminine, then I think he'd be landing some big leading roles. I think Hollywood would go wild for a passing trans superstar. There's no one like that at the moment that I can think of. He didn't produce it himself. IIRC, in that random interview he gave to some blog, he talks about how Nebula took charge of the production. He still didn't have to impress anyone with the script because they gave him the go-ahead before he'd even written the script. Another example of Olly having a much easier time of it than he as any right to.

A weird thing about Olly is that when he tries harder he always ends up looking worse. As far as troons go he can pass alright with normal clothes, at least when things like the angle and lighting are favourable, maybe throw in a few Instagram filters too. Oh and makes sure he's not standing near anything that hints at his actual height, especially an actual bio woman.
