It's fucking creepy to be honest. I mean yeah we need preschool teachers I guess and it's a job that must be done, but it's not something to brag about since you are a virtual baby sitter. Also children that age can be fucked up by stupid adults in those positions, so acting out like that while you have that kind of responsibility is a bad look if not worse.

Incase you were wanting great proof Caitlin is incapable of enjoying anything, I did the math on ANN's summer 2022 preview guide:
27 shows on the preview guide in total, discounting the sequels. Of those 27...
13 reviews were negative, of those 13 only 1 show didn't have at least one other reviewer more positive toward it
6 shows were ones she just didn't review despite the other reviewers doing so
A whopping 3 shows got actually positive reviews
2 reviews were "eh it's cool but not for me" reviews that still had to rate it 2.5 stars
1 review is 3.5 stars but also more bitching about animation as if it's more important than the story being told
1 review was, her words, "2.5 stars if you believe ACAB, 4.5 stars if you don't"
1 review is a somewhat receptive 3 star review

I feel like this says more about her than the shows she's reviewing tbqh. Imagine a film critic going to the Cannes Film Festival and giving the majority of the films negative-to-meh reviews, only giving like three good reviews while refusing to review a few others. yeah i havent been in tune with her stuff for a while precisely because i know her and reading her is like reading the ramblings of a psycho, but i know some of her old stuff, specially when anifem launched:
-she disclosed info after interviewing sayo yamamoto and other anime director about how tboth of them hate moe and supposedly told her that off the record, later on someone asked both directors in a Q&A at england and they completely denied saying anything remotely close.
-yamamoto specifically said she was misrepresented in the interview.
-she bullied ppl on the internet saying something like "i have more power than you while i hated anime" ppl have archives of that to show she isnt really an anime fan.

funny thing is that she was gloating about how "i sit down interviewing 2 of the most influential anime directors, i have more power than u a weeb on the internet" and she ended up being told a liar and later on completely removed from participating in such interviews due to being a cunt and a liar
