The USA has been shifting more to the left for a while. Even if the times were more tame by current years standards the progressive pushes from the 80s, 90s, and 00s lead up to this. Hopefully, that clarifies what I was saying in my previous post. It's nowhere near as concise, and is far longer than I'd like it to be, but hey, at least this time I won't be accused of advocating for tranny v. femoid deathmatch exhibitions.

I'd also note, don't come across like a /pol/ edgelord or you aren't going to convince anyone who doesn't already agree with you. If you're trying to win someone over, you need empathy, not edgy. So don't mix in routine talking points. If you actually are a shitlord, don't just fake it, that's not going to convince, either (unless you are a really good liar).

Start by finding points of agreement between you and work from there.

This is ultimately a lot like cult exit counseling. A direct front-on attack is going to et them to shut down and completely disregard everything you say. People are a lot more likely to come around when they reach their own conclusions, so let them think. Drop depth charges, things they agree with but possibly don't even know they do yet, which they can't elude forever. Sometimes you will say something that doesn't even switch on until years later.

If someone sincerely believes something, even something nonsensical, they aren't just going to turn around and spit on it based on a brief conversation. They have to come to that realization themselves. The best way of doing this isn't to try to get them to abandon a deeply held belief, but to force them to reconcile the contradictions between that belief and their own fundamental moral principles.

That's why the children thing is very important, but also has to be handled delicately, because most people have encountered meretricious "think of the children" arguments many times and will reflexively reject them on sight. But women are almost universally actually concerned with children, for obvious reasons stemming from both nature and nurture, and actually realizing that troons are harming children is going to turn almost anyone against them. Men too, but it's particularly compelling for women.

I'd also recommend Steven Hassan's works, particularly his first book, Combatting Cult Mind Control, and the followup, Releasing the Bonds. He's a cult exit counselor (try to disregard his recent TDS seizures), and has very good suggestions on methods of communication that can get people to reconsider the current path they're on.

I think the most important thing, though, is don't tell people things. Don't lecture them. Ask them questions instead. And listen to what they say.

Think of it as the exact opposite of an online "argument."
