The funniest bit by far is the complete lack of understanding of consequences. The Aiden trying to be some stoic, brave macho man with her "don't worry, babe, we'll get home" and "I'm not scared of you, motherfucker! I'm not scared of you!" is comedy gold, but the linebacker hon trying to imitate some helpless damsel while sounding like a dying beagle is what cranks it up to comedy platinum. They're both obviously copying what they've seen on TV.
Aiden threw water on a Republican representative and was confronted by a state trooper who she then told "It's just water my dude" and tried to brush off. She and the hon then try to run away which is what leads into the exchange on the stairs and the state trooper starts making an arrest. Then the hon's bellows for help - inside the Oklahoma State Capitol building - attract the security guards who tell him "you've got help. We're here." and his response was "you're not my help!"
It's hilarious to me that they couldn't predict going into a government building to protest and then throwing water on a politician would result in an arrest, or calling for help in a government building attracts people on the side of the policeman. What were they expecting? Their co-protestors to kick the state trooper down the stairs, when they're surrounded by other state troopers and security guards?
"I just want to go home with my husband" - well, you made things worse instead:
When Oklahoma Highway Patrol officers escorted this individual away in an effort to deescalate the situation, Culver said, the protester became “belligerent and assaulted the officer.”
“If water being thrown had been the extent of the action taken, I would not have given it a second thought. However, I cannot stand by while our highway patrolmen are assaulted for simply doing their jobs,” said Culver. “Taking all of that into consideration, I decided to press charges against the individual who assaulted me and the patrolman and will cooperate fully with the law enforcement investigation.”
