I do think that he's largely correct about the black-white situation. For various reasons I don't think that the tensions will ever completely go away as long as the two groups exist. From a practical point of view there aren't really any benefits from the white perspective to comingle especially with the way that the black element of society is very tribal (as in viewing their race as a large part of their identity and having strong in group preference while the average white doesn't due to multiple factors.)

As a white person, is it not fair to consider the consequences of having to defend yourself against a black person should you be attacked? It's a crazy thing to even consider how you may be portrayed for defending yourself, but it's the reality that you live in. What if you have an inconsiderate (black) neighbour? You already know that they may accuse you of racism if you ask them to be more reasonable in their actions. You already should know that other groups feel justified in screwing you over and that there's really nothing you can do about it. Society bends to the will of black pouting whenever it occurs; any instance of daring to have a backbone is met with fury and various accusations and/or rationalizations as to why they should seek to disenfranchise you. Why willingly subject yourself to living like that? I'm not calling for segregation by rule of law or anything, but if one wishes to be apart from blacks (or anyone else) then I support that.
