The features are not for archives you dense fuck. Almost nothing gets featured. I intentionally ignore a lot of major events for various reasons I will sum up as intuition.

You don't know I opt out of featuring stuff every day because you probably don't use the forum enough outside of one thread to see it happen, but it does happen constantly. If anything about the content itself or the thread it's in gives me pause, I usually just let people post it in the community happenings thread on their own so lurkers can exercise more discretion.

I'm really getting sick of people feeling entitled to features. It is so incredibly childish.

It's also a liability issue. The website on principle cannot be seen as condoning this behavior. The feature button in particular could be seen as Nulls speech rather section 230 protected speech by other people who happen to use the website.
