It's not showing up out of the blue if you purposefully rent out a house next to someone who fucking hates you and has a mental illness to fuck with them every day. I'd say it would be expected for them to attack you then.
People have shown up at his house and city multiple time. Cyrax invites them to do so. This is the first time he has ever followed through with his threats. This has been going on for years.

regardless of how you feel about cyraxx or the fight(i found it entertaining given the history), there’s a very valid point to be made in not featuring the video.

if anyone who isn’t involved in any of these communities stumbles across the forum in learning about cyraxx via a more major youtuber or whatever and sees the goblin getting beat on, without proper context, it is potentially another wave of bullshit for the forum to have to endure.

Also you repeatedly tell them you're going to move near them, and continue to prod and poke to rile them up about you moving to their neighborhood.

Besides the Ralph argument. Some people on here seem to forget that one time Null had to lock the Patrick Tomilson thread seeing how people kept fucking with him by pulling swatting attempts. The amount of bullshit some users had tried to justify against Null locking the thread while trying to explain how totally 'based and epic' it was to commit a federal crime by sending the trigger happy police officers to light up some fat author for the lulz.

Wasn't very impressive and he's not a notable cow anyway. Video was basically:
- some shirtless goblin runs up to some fat guy in the corner of the screen
- scuffle off-screen
- camera focuses on what looks like yet another miserable evening in Ohio with rain falling at dusk
- shirtless goblin retreats

This is why it shouldn't be featured. But it already is basically so autism wins.

The features are not for archives you dense fuck. Almost nothing gets featured. I intentionally ignore a lot of major events for various reasons I will sum up as intuition.

You don't know I opt out of featuring stuff every day because you probably don't use the forum enough outside of one thread to see it happen, but it does happen constantly. If anything about the content itself or the thread it's in gives me pause, I usually just let people post it in the community happenings thread on their own so lurkers can exercise more discretion.

I'm really getting sick of people feeling entitled to features. It is so incredibly childish.
Ok the Features are not for archives, but I hope the Cyraxx videos are for next weeks' podcast mkay.

I mean, the users that really care about a particular subject enough to want it to be featured are watching the thread anyway. I think therefore things should be featured if they are worth deliberately getting the attention of the rest of the userbase.

I would say that from what I've seen Cyraxx is mostly notable for being nasty. What is this, Rotten.com? I suppose it's ultimately a matter of taste, but if The Slobbering One thinks it's not worth featuring this guy, I'm happy with that editorial decision.

I have less than zero interest in featuring, promoting, or encouraging some dude assaulting a lolcow.
On one hand, I see why you wouldn't want to seem like you were promoting or encouraging IRL violence against lolcows. On the other hand, it seems like Kiwifarms is the exact site that should be highlighting this event. I really don't know what the "correct" course of action should be, but you can't lose if you don't feature it, so I say don't feature it.
