However, perusing through that thread, a lot of people are misinformed like you are saying. One commenter stated something along the lines of, "Seems like Cyraxx just wants to be left alone...". I can see pros and cons to both outcomes, and regardless either choice is a monkey's paw dilemma.

It would certainly help if some people read the OP, but they are indeed entitled to their opinions. @Blagher made a good point somewhere that this whole situation is a grey topic. It's hard to pick just one side to be on because of prior context. Honestly, I've been fascinated and morbidly curious about how far cyrax is willing to keep these delusions going. It's interesting that Marty has always owned the whole obsession/compulsion aspect of his relationship with Cyrax but don't forget he has mentioned that sometime after Jayme's death was when he admitted his motivations became partially personal.

Marty has had his chance to dish out 1 year's worth of built-up tension (not a decade, some moron unironically said he was tormenting Chance for 10 years in the other thread lol). These are things you can't tell just by looking at him. Cyrax will quickly flip-flop between being a sympathetic figure and a tough guy based on whatever suits the situation. You tougher than him? He'll talk tough from a distance but that anger REALLY quickly turns around when it comes to protecting himself. Are you a woman or weaker and smaller than he is? Trust and believe that if he just THINKS that you're weaker than him or if he can get away with it then he will quickly prove he's not above the shit he preaches against.
