Because he might have read the thread enough to know that it's a sad, painful reality that the hormones required would be immense and intense to the point they would likely cause complications to the baby, the nutrition drain would be cruel, the wiring to hook up the womb to the male's blood system would be hellish, the male pelvis could not expand to accommodate a baby, pregnant women's blood can actually harm males, and the organ would likely be rejected straight out if from a donor (stem cells like some have been cheering for? no idea). I don't think laws will ever pass that stop people from being transgender entirely: they can't outlaw you calling yourself a woman or crossdressing as the first is too much of a hassle to police plus freedom of speech and belief while the later is too broad to police and really not worth it either since most sane people may think a man in a dress is funny, it should be that man's right to wear a skirt.

I'm guessing only medical societies can ever stop trans surgeries: they could finally say "this shit causes minimal improvement AT BEST for a short time so we might want to cut that shit out", and make it only avaliable out of country or through private pay COSMETIC means. So far, the state says they won't pay for surgeries and treatments (please keep repeating ONLY TRANSITIONING WORKS like only scientology vibe checks are the way) and have stopped putting down chosen markers on your birth certificate. Now think long and hard: is eradicating paperwork eradicating transness? Nawh dawg, it's the state just saying "no."

Strangely, I see my own mental illnesses as the opposite: my meds allow me to live without my condition forcing me to be something I'm not. Some people can't take the pills because of side effects or are better off controlling their own illness without being overmedicated, and I respect them too, but you're living a life where dysphoria cut your chances off with doing it with a real woman ever again (see: missing penis).

I think it should be an option, not a mandate, for trans people: not everyone wants to go the full mile like Erin Reed. They just don't say it online because then vultures like Erin swoop down and go REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE at them.

You're only allowed a uterus transplant if you intend to have a child: you can't have one for the sake of it. (Source) (a) The uterus is used for one or two pregnancies, then gets removed. In addition, most of the uterus donors so far have been mothers donating to daughters. (Source for both) (a) Doctors are generally unwilling to perform hysterectomies on pre-menopausal women with healthy uteruses, which limits the number of potential donors. There have been uterus transplants from dead donors (prev source), but good luck with the PR on doing that for trannies.

The donated uterus doesn't come with eggs, so they'd also need an egg donor. Women are only allowed to donate eggs six times in their life because of the health and ethical risks. (Source) (a) Egg donation can cause ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome; here's one case of a woman dying donating eggs to someone else (Source) (a) (medical gore at link). The Netherlands reports six women dying from IVF, and notes that other countries are likely hiding their death rates. (Source) (a)

A third issue is the stinkditch. In uterus transplant patients, babies have only been born to women with real vaginas. If you have an artificial vagina and a transplanted uterus, the baby dies. An article about transgender uterus transplants claims two Swedish women with uterus transplants and artificial vaginas got pregnant, but there's no citation. (Source) (a) One woman born with a uterus but no vagina successfully had a baby - it took 6+ surgeries to get her pregnant, and that was using her own womb. (Source) (a) (medical gore at link)

None of this looks at the effect of the pregnancy on the baby. There's no way of knowing what would happen to a baby grown in a man's body. Thalidomide exposure and fetal alcohol syndrome both make it clear that the womb environment has a massive impact on a baby's health. It's not ethical to put children through a risk like that just to make troons happy.
