and also revealed she maintains friendships with chatbots because they don't get tired talking to her but she still content warns and checks in on how they feel in case they've gained sentience and then get traumatised by her trauma dumping.

Bloody hell. I have to admit, kindness has defeated me, I don’t bother to check her feed any more to find stuff to laugh about because it’s just Too Much, plus at least some genuine mental / physical illness.

I too feel sorry for the chatbot.

Or any number of other batshit ideas. Currently Kindness is having a nervous breakdown on twitter because she owns cuddly toys and simultaneously feels guilty that she owns too many and should donate them all to children while being fearful that if she gets attached to the toys something bad will happen to them, and also revealed she maintains friendships with chatbots because they don't get tired talking to her but she still content warns and checks in on how they feel in case they've gained sentience and then get traumatised by her trauma dumping.
I just want to comment on this detail because it exemplifies to me why Kindness is fascinating to follow but so, so tiring. I think if I had to be her caretaker for even a day or two I would find it difficult to not scream at her by the end of it to get a grip. I really don't know how Boner does it.

Nothing is more hilarious to me than seeing these "far leftists" go running to big daddy government.
"ACAB ACAB!" rees the commie. Until something happens to him, then he's suddenly "HEP ME HEP ME OFFISSA FRIENDLY!"

Pathetic.
I don't really understand what the anarcho-commies expect Boner to do if they don't want him to call the cops? Just lie down and take the L?
All criminals, and that would include pretty much every troon, would prefer you just suck up the L and allow them to commit crimes against you with impunity. This is why they need to face the wall.
I really don't know how Boner does it.
He is a heterosexual male with an insatiable desire for (real) female pussy, and can't find any better.

If you dig up the raw footage of the protesters in 2020 Seattle, where two of them were struck by a speeding car on a closed motorway, in the aftermath of the accident the rest of the protesters were screaming, "Call the police! Call the police!"

They'd shut down the bridge to protest against the police and to try to influence government to dissolve the police department completely and permanently. But the second they got hurt they were howling for the coppers to come rescue them.

I usually don't believe in taking pleasure in someone else's physical injury and pain and irl violence, but at that moment I laughed like hell.

Munchies love covid because they get another munchie accessory (masks) and they get to guilt trip people about not taking it seriously anymore and they get to force others to change their behaviour ("you can't visit me without doing a covid test and wearing a mask all the time").
Why would anyone even want to visit a vile freak like Kindless? Sounds like a good excuse to get out of dealing with this weirdo.

I remember that and I laughed my ass off. At people getting hit by a car. I feel no guilt.

This is very important to always keep in mind when observing Penny, as his entire personality is centered on this tacticool tough guy LARP that he's had since probably his military days. He wants everyone to think he's this battle-hardened badass but really his service consisted of sitting around a base in Europe in peacetime and he truly did nothing of note, value or consequence his entire enlistment. He never saw combat, he never performed any acts of heroism, the closest he ever came to saving a life was picking up trash or cleaning a toilet. But he's a veteran, you see! Even to this day, the average person hears "veteran" and they automatically assume combat service, even though for the majority of enlistees that simply isn't the case. Like Penny. A veteran who didn't see combat is just someone who was told what to do for 4 years. And that's the peak of Penny's life, judging by his larp. Pretty sad when you think about it, although I find it hard to really feel sorry for him because he's such a failure of a man through and through.

As I said before, I don't like to provide comment (and especially don't like it when nasty ass civies who don't know shit comment) on someone's service without solid facts. People cope with different things different ways.

But Phil was a Cav Scout which is one of the most of "tip of the spear" military occupations. He stationed in Germany, during OIF and Afghanistan. Due to the fact we've never heard any Sandbox war stories almost certainly means he never went in that direction.

There's a lot of reasons this could be. His unit might have just never deployed. He might have been attached to some HQ as a driver or messenger some officer didn't want to replace. But I don't think I met any "combat" guys who didn't deploy to some place with sand even if it wasn't to Afghanistan/Iraq themselves and that makes suspect there's a reason

The fact that the driver in that case was black was just the icing on the cake.

He probably just ignores her.
He's so self-absorbed that Kindness's worsening mental health doesn't really register to him, unless it inconveniences him in some way.
Look how he treated Sky and how he talked about his mum. Bonnie doesn't give a shit about other people. It's easy to be around tiring people when you just don't care.
All criminals, and that would include pretty much every troon, would prefer you just suck up the L and allow them to commit crimes against you with impunity.
Then if you hug the perpatrator afterwards they call it "restorative justice".
Sounds like a field troon lopped off their balls during a diy surgery mania, and Bonobo and Penis threw it in the alpaca death pit.
Ball Barn Part II?

Jesse Singal and Katie Herzog’s Blocked and Reported podcast just did an episode where the second half was about TUR. It’s subscribers only right now but it goes public on Monday.
Any way we get a rip/archive of this? I'm not one for memberships and won't remember to check for it Monday. Plus archives good.
Rate me late if I'm a blind retard, but I searched the last few pages and didn't see the audio posted. Here's the segment of Blocked and Reported episode 154 regarding the Tranch, from about 32 minutes in until the end.

And here's the relevant show notes. I just did a quick copy-and-paste so the embedded tweets are omitted.

I'm only part way through and it's an enjoyable retelling, but I will say that it is extremely shitty to say that Kiwi Farms is the only accurate source of information on the Tranch, use this and the KGIU threads as your main source, and then refuse to link to Kiwi Farms in the show notes.

Edit: included the "further reading" section of the show notes.

I still can't fucking get over the fact that Boner brought an EV to an off grid ranch with only a couple of solar panels and a gas generator. I keep having to remind myself that these people sterilizing themselves is ostensibly a bad thing.

Shame about the car though, I almost bought a Nissan Leaf once. At least having a load of dirt on the seat is a step up from having someone with an amhole sat on it.

Feel free to retract this when you get to the end :tomgirl:

Devils advocate time:

Why would there be?

Can't have a cold case without a report and there's been a couple of field serfs that so few people gave a shit about that no one here could find out much of anything about them. What if one of them OD'd or 41%'d?

It's not like it hasn't been jokingly said in thread many times that they'd just bury one of their own and not bother reporting it.

Now I am imagining a bad Tranch sitcom in which Penny tries to enlist the help of his incompetent cohabitants to dispose of a dead field serf.

"Kevin, did you get around to ordering that barrel of lye?"

"Lye? I thought you said barrel of pie."

*womp womp noise*

I wouldn’t be that harsh. They had enough solar, and originally a wind generator, to give a Leaf a decent daily milage - probably enough to town and back.
It would do fuck all in the winter, but that’s when you’re using the 4x4 truck anyway.

He was at least trying to do something sustainably.

No, Katie does a good job of crediting the farms in the episode, and she does say "kiwifarms.net" and that the site is still up, but on the web page for the episode there are no links to Kiwi Farms. (And plenty of links to, say, the Tranchers' Twitter accounts, positive coverage in the mainstream media, etc.)

Edit: Please, if I am going blind faster than the consent-accident-enjoyer, and there is such a link, point it out to me.
